Just back from a city break with Jet2 holidays. Landed at Pisa Airport and used one of the airport buses. The journey took just over an hour and terminates at the Santa Maria train station.. Hotel is approx. 5 minutes from the station. We had a double room on the 3 floor which was of a adequate size, nice and quiet at night and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was continental style, with plenty of variety. Staff were polite and helpful. Hotel offers Wfi connection and if you are staying for more than 1 night it is cheaper to purchase a week's usage. No problem getting connected or speed.
The hotel is close to the central market which is worth going to. On the ground floor you have stalls selling meat, fruit and pasta. The first floor is dedicated to food and drink with seating areas for customers to use. There is also an abundance of stalls outside all selling leather goods for those travellers looking to pick up a bargin
Took the opportunity to use the "hop on hop off" sightseeing buses to explore the City. There are three routes in operation and not that expensive, 25 euros for a 48 hours ticket.

All in all had a fab time and would recommend

The hotel is well situated North of the Medici chapel, around 3 minutes walking with another 5 minute walk to reach el Duomo.

The breakfast is satisfactory but nothing special. The room has everything you need at a comfortable price. The lights work by inserting your room card, a feature I didn't personally like.

The staff were exceptional. In particular, the bartender and breakfast worker Vincenzo was very friendly and provided great service.

Overall a good experience if you are looking for a comfortable hotel near central Florence.

Old elevators that works well, typical Italian breakfast, the staff were good and very helpful. It might be a old hotel, but the rooms had class and very clean. Location was great only 200 metres from the train station.

Stayed 1 night for a quick visit to Florence. Rooms are adequate and bathrooms appear to be recently renovated. Staff is very helpful in providing maps and directions which provided for a spectacular evening exploring the city center.

Central market is on the adjacent street with many kiosks and leather shops so if you want to shop this hotel is perfect. They sellers are not Gucci or Prada, but mostly have local Tuscan leather and such, aswell as a plentiful supply of imported souvenir items.

Breakfast is good with a broad variety and wait staff is attentive.

Just a note if you are driving. The hotel is located on a very busy, narrow street. Although it wasn't hard to find even stopping to unload bags can be a challenge. The hotel does reserve street space for just that purpose but if someone is there ahead of you, it may mean you circle the block until the space opens up.

Parking is either on the street, which could be close or a few blocks away depending on how far you have to go to find an open spot. Or, across the street in the Nazionale Parking garage. Fee is 25.50 Euro per night which can add up if you are staying a few days.

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel, two families with children. The rooms are spacious and clean and the decoration nice.Location is very good and there is a parking just opposite from the hotel. Breakfast is good in variety and quantity but not so good in quality. The staff is helpful, especially the barman!
Overall, this is s good choice for a short, non romantic (no view in the rooms) stay. Also very accessible for disabled clients. With a small renovation (lifts and corridors ) it can become a 4 star hotel.

It was just ok. The breakfast was pretty good, We had just stayed in a much smaller hotel where the staff was exceptional, and when we got to the Corona D'Italia, we had some (not all) interactions with staff where they seemed aloof. The room was clean, but small. The location was ok for this reason - it was far enough away from the center of town that the prices in the restaurants were a little cheaper. WiFi was super slow and not available at times, which was a bummer since we had to pay for it.
