We could not have been more pleased with this hotel - the staff were so welcoming, the building is gorgeous, and we chose to upgrade to a junior suite - which was a perfectly appointed room with exceptionally high ceilings, architectural details, very quiet, and the most comfortable beds we slept in during our 3 weeks in Tuscany. Breakfast was a large buffet containing everything one needs to start their day. The location is absolutely outstanding. We would highly recommend this NH property, which has a 5 star feel and attention to details.

Room Tip: If a junior suite is available, it is worth the extra charge to upgrade. Our room faced the small s...

Everything was excellent. Very close to train station. Close to all attractions. Very helpful staff. Very clean. Very nice breakfast buffet. I would go back and also check other hotels from the same group.

This gem of a hotel is nestled between designer shops, Florence's oldest pizzeria and small winding streets. Although it looks a bit traditional from the outside, we was definitely surprised by the interior which had a romantic, art deco feel.

Upon arrival, we were told that they had a Junior Suite available at an additional charge of €15 a night which we accepted and didn't regret! The Junior Suite was quite a large room which a partition in the middle, separating the bedroom from a lounge area - more than enough space for my boyfriend and I for 2 nights! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and provided us with sightseeing recommendations and restaurant bookings each night. The location was also really convenient and most sights are within walking distance.

The only disappointment was that the day we arrived, we were told that they were having Wifi issues with their internet provider and this continued for all 3 days that we were there although we had specifically booked this hotel because they provided Wifi!

Regardless, we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend to future travellers.

This was my first visit to Florence, I wanted a traditional hotel but holding onto luxury and that's what we got. We had a very early flight so arrived at the hotel at 10am, luckily our room was ready and we were checked in early. The hotel is a mixture of tradition and modernity put together in the way only Italians can do. We booked a junior suite which was very spacious, a huge beautifully furnished bedroom, a separate sitting room and a spacious bathroom. Sadly we had no view but that didn't really matter too much. It was extremely comfortable with everything we needed apart from tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was served until 11am, 12 noon on Sundays. What a spread, again everything we needed with friendly discrete service.
The staff at the hotel are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and everything done with a smile. Location is perfect, walking distance to most things.
I will definitely make a return visit.

Located in the historical center, in a quiet side street but a stone's throw from everything: every site was accessible on foot and the furthest walk to Galleria del'Academia was a leisurely 15 minute. The hotel mixes modern amenities with an authentic traditional feel. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and was very helpful for all types of reccomendations, tips and assistance. The rooms were spotless, large and airy, again mixing modern furniture with traditionnal details. Free internet in rooms (via hotspot) and your typical quality NH breakfast, available until quite late (11am, noon on weekends).
This was the perfect place to stay in every way.

I cannot say enough about this hotel and the staff. We were greeted by Valentina at the front desk. She was a delight. Very professional, friendly and helpful. The other front desk staff members that we encountered during our stay (Elia and Baldo) were just as wonderful. The hotel is very elegant, and in an excellent location. Our room (junior suite) was very spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom. Main sites are within walking distance. The breakfast that is provided is great, not the usual European breakfast. There was something for everyone. During breakfast we met Carmen, who is one of the servers. She was always ready to assist with her warm and friendly disposition. All of the servers (don't know names) made breakfast a pleasurable experience. I highly recommend this hotel.
