The apartment is wonderful in every respect: location, amenities, comfort. The terrace was the crowning touch. We spent a week and are already planning our next trip. The owners were most gracious and met our every need.

8 nights. We agree with other reviews. Very well appointed, spacious and private.Owners very helpful and friendly. We liked the SAn Marco location(Accademia restaurant was not on the Owners list but we liked it) and found the bus very convenient, almost outside the door.Very happy to recommend.

This summer (2013) I visited Florence together with my 13 year old son. For our 6 nights stay we booked the Loft apartment following all the great reviews posted on the site. That proved to be a great choice!

The apartment is indeed a very special place and we enjoyed our time there a lot. It is a very well appointed loft studio, in an elegant style, tastefully combining contemporary design with beautiful old character elements and setting. Very comfortable and with all modern day amenities and appliances that are actually working well. The location is also fantastic. Very close to the Accademia, Duomo (10min walk) and Train Station, but also in a quiet street in one of the oldest parts of the city. Paulo and Mario’s hospitality, personal presence and attention are highly commendable, too. Yes, we had a great time and really enjoyed staying there. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Florence. We'll definitely be back.

This is our 3rd year staying in the City Center in a apartment. This year we wanted outside space (huge patio with dining and sofa /chair furniture) so we rented the Appartamento del Re. From the moment we opened the door and the remainder of the 9 glorious nights, we were delighted by this apartment. They had wine, fruit, water, juice, soda, olive oil, biscotti , coffee and much more ready for us. To my DELIGHT they had several planters in the patio with fresh herbs. I was in heaven because I love to cook. Everything in this apartment is of very high quality and very good taste. We could seriously live here! There is really to much to even write about. The location was perfect. Walked everywhere! You will thank yourself if you rent this apartment, we certainly plan to return. The hosts are most gracious and met any request. From borrowing an umbrella to making airport transport arrangements. They treat their guests like they are in a 5 star Hotel. Absolutely a joy, I cant wait to go back!

Room Tip: The picture above is not the one we stayed in, Appartamento del Re has the HUGE patio.

We chose to book the Loft del Principe for our 5 night stay in Florence and it was the best decision of our trip. The pictures are what attracted us to it, but they really don't do it justice. It really was exactly what the pictures showed and more. If you are looking for a comfortable, spacious, and modern place to stay in Florence, look no further.
Mario and Paolo made our trip easy through the easy booking with Mario and having Paolo waiting for us at the door when we arrived. He gave us a tour of the apartment and explained everything and made it clear if there was anything we needed, he was there to help.
They even had wine, fresh fruit, and snacks waiting for us in the room as well as food stocked in case we wanted to cook.
The bathroom was very spacious and had a great shower and tub that made for relaxing after a busy day touring the city.
The apartment had two air conditioners and despite it being very hot while we were in Florence (Upper 90s), we were plenty cool inside.
The large flat screen tv had international channels so we were able to keep up with news. Also, I asked Paolo about access to the NBA finals and he set us up to where we could watch it online...great service.
The bedroom upstairs was very nice and the bed very comfortable.
The location of the building is nice in that is just a block or two from the Accademia and just a short 10-15 minute walk from the Duomo and other main sites. We loved being close to the action, but still above a quiet peaceful street.

With all that said, I would recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to Florence. We'll definitely be back.
