Good-ish location. Just don't go up to the park 1/2 a block away. You'll come across seedy people taking pharmaceuticals and drinking.

Reception:
- The old Italian guy makes you feel like you should leave as soon as you enter. The Asian immigrant workers were much more hospitable though.

Internet:
- It's free witch is great. Can you use it to load anything? Nope. Can't even stream a basic audio file on YouTube. (I was staying in 103, it's about 3 M away from front desk wall to wall).

Housekeeping:
- Went a full day with no toilet paper, the 2 glasses I had were left in the room, even though they decided they would make the beds. Once the glasses were finally washed, it looked as if they had rinsed them with cold water and wiped them with my towel. Reception claimed that "sometimes the dish washer doesn't do so well". Nice.

Beds:
- Quite comfortable, considering you're laying on such a narrow surface that you feel like you're about to roll off even though you hardly moved.

Anyway. Sure, stay here. Just don't expect much.

Room Tip: Not 103? If you get a higher room you'll probably hear less noise.

Room was very clean and good space. Cool and quiet in spite of busy and hot holiday season. Facilities very good and wifi best I have come across in hotels. Breakfast fresh and adequate. Staff very helpful and friendly. Best thing is how close to centre this hotel is. Close enough to return for a shoe change or rest before the next foray into the very hot weather. Florence felt very safe and is much more relaxed than Rome. Traffic was not a problem but mind the cyclists!

Room Tip: 2nd floor back are quiet but no view.

Location central enough but seedy district. Very basic facilities in room although good size. Very basic breakfast with narrow range of food and not enough of it. Very slippery bath. More lodging house than serviced hotel.

I booked a family member to stay here for 7 nights recently, and he couldn't say enough nice things about this hotel. Wifi had great coverage, staff very friendly and breakfast was great. Great area and located close to the station and within walking distance to main attractions. 3 star hotel and worth the price paid!

We stayed for for 5 days with 2 adult children.
Location is great. Within walking distance to the main train station. Close the shops and.a laundrette. The room for 4 was basic and spacious. Good wifi in the rooms The bathroom was spacious but didn't have a shower only a bath which was a little inconvenient.
Breakfast was average and coffee was terrible.

Staying in this hotel reminded me of the scene from Harry Potter when the bus had to compact itself in order to fit through the streets of London. Everything is miniature in this hotel: the rooms, the beds, the televisions, the bathrooms, the showers, the breakfast room, the elevator. Nevertheless, if you don't mind wedging yourself and your luggage into the room this is a fine place to stay. This hotel is a hop-skip-and-a-jump all the major sites of Florence, particularly the leather market, the Duomo, the Piazza della Signoria, and the train station. It offers a typical Italian continental breakfast (pastry, cereal, sliced meat, coffee, cake) and friendly staff that is ready to help you with whatever you may need. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Room Tip: Rooms on the street side can hear noise from cars and pedestrians.

I was staying here on a school trip and was relying on the promise of free wifi so that I could contact my parents who were overseas, however, the hotel did not deliver on its promise which caused great problems for me. The room was extremely noisy, hot, and the sink made noise for 20 minutes after you used it. Also, the hotel was better off saving money and not even providing pillows, because the ones they gave were basically a sheet of paper. And, the stairs in this hotel are quite dangerous. Multiple people in my group fell down them, one even badly twisted their ankle, so they could not walk around and enjoy the city. Another problem, is the amount and placement of the outlets. In my room, one outlet was smashed into the wall, leaving us with one functioning outlet, and many things that we needed to use it for. The breakfast offered very limited choices. Overall, I would only recommend this hotel to people who are barbaric and live like savages. The only good aspect of this hotel is the location.

Room Tip: Don't stay here
