Had a lovely stay here. The rooms are simple, but are really nice for the price range. The views and location make this hotel a real bargain. We could look out out window and see the ponte vecchio. The staff was very friendly and gave great advice.

The hotel is quite simple and well located. It is at the edge of the historical zone, right beside the river, around 15-20 minutes walking from Galleria degli Uffizi and Ponte Vechio. Our window looked out onto the river and probably all the rooms had the same view (see picture). The attendant is a very solicitous man, always willing to inform and help. The room is quite large and confortable with good internet connection. But it has

I would not hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone wanting to spend a couple of days in Florence and be close to all the sights without shelling out the big bucks. It really is just a place to sleep and store your stuff whilst you roam about town exploring all the museums and sit in a trattoria or osteria enjoying the things that actually brought you to Florence!
This place has many positives, fantastic location, relatively low price, views, WIFI, access to PT, friendly staff and easy to locate.
The negatives were the bathroom was in desperate need of an update/ good clean, having to buzz to get inside the hotel after hours and for those light sleepers the paper thin walls.

Location is great but wifi signal did not reach our room. We had to sit outside in the hall to get a signal (and it ran VERY slow). The guy at the desk said he had never heard of this issue (doubt it). Not the kind of service we expected for the price. Even hostels we've stayed at for a tenth of the cost have WIFI in the rooms. Rooms were big but needed a paint job.

The guy that is always there is so helpful and the place is soooo clean which I loved because in Rome I stayed at this horrible and very dirty place. Their location is unbeatable for the price. It's 7 mins walk to the train station and 10 min walk to the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Acadamia, etc. Their breaksfast is the best, ohhh I miss that hot cocoa I used ask for every morning. I definitely love this place, and I will stay here again and I definitely recommended it.
It's like 2 blocks away from the Americo Vespusio Ponte walking the opposite direction to Ponte Vecchio by the US Embassy.

Room Tip: I got the room facing the Lake, it was a lovely view every morning and every night.
