this hotel is modern and very comfortable. Really nice and lush bed and wifi in the room so you can connect with the world on your comfy bed. Weird level sytem with our room 309 being on level 2 on the elevator which was also tiny.
Great location being walking distance to the centre of town and right near the train station if your coming in that way.
Breakfast was nice, nothing amazing about it though. And the service seemed nice enough.
Probably the best bathroom we had during our trip.

The hotel was very nice with decently sized , clean rooms. It was a min. walk from the bus and train stations and max. 15 min. walk to the dome or galleria academia (david).
The Staff were pleasant and helpful.
It was a nice and good Continental Breakfast.

Looking at the facade, you might think "uh-oh" but we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in 501 and it was a lovely and extremely comfortable room. There were a few mosquitoes, but that's just part of most holidays! The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was a beautiful continental buffet. Only downside we could mention is that the rooms could be better sound proofed, particularly on one night when some loud drunken American students came stumbling along the corridor, but that said more about their lack of respect than a fault with the hotel. Well worth the visit and only a short walk away from the best sights, museums and shops I've ever seen!

We arrive at this hotel and they transfer us to hotel Astoria which is not the kind of hotel we are looking for.
Not even a notification via email. They have my contact details and all.
We feel like we are trapped as we do not have any other choice but to accept the replacement Hotel.
We were told that there is a renovation happening, however, we pretended that we wanted to book for a room and guess what? they have rooms available if you pay the full price and not via agent. What kind of hotel is that?
Not very professional.

Room Tip: If you really wanted this Hotel, you need to pay the full price, otherwise they will ditch you just...

We were supposed to be booked in to the Hoetl Club but were sent to their sister hotel around the corner. We arrived too early to check in so just cloaked our luggage and went out. When we returned to collect our room key we were told we were in 385B. Be very wary of the " B " because that means it is the lounge/ kitchen part of a suite and the bed is a sofa bed.We have never had such poor bedding especially in a supposed 4 star hotel .Too travel weary to complain we put up with it for 2 nights , but I resolved to warn others . A good bed is a must and this was not Beware!!

Room Tip: Don't take a B room

Well worth it. We got a super king bed and was wonderful. Bed was comfy after a long day of walking tours. The breakfast was yummy. Staff were accommodating. Strategic location. Close to the station. Shopping is walking distance away. Good restaurants nearby.

We stayed here for three nights and all I can say it was an amazing epeeience!

Walking distance from Santa Maria novella train station like five minutes max!

Staff were so kind and polite. We missed our breakfast first day, however they had accommodated us to one of their sister hotels (around the corner) for breakfast :)

Rooms were lovely! Very very clean, spacious and big.

Thank you for your hospitality Luca and Elena :) xxxx
