My son and I were having a few days of looking at all the fabulous art in Florence ads stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were kind and helpful and although we had booked two singles we were given two doubles at no extra cost. The bedrooms were basic but we both had baths which I much prefer to showers. Both were well air conditioned. The breakfast is a cold buffet but plentiful and more than adequate but it is the location that is really good - very central and right by the leather goods market. We had a long itinerary of churches, museums, Palazzos, chapels, galleries etc that we wanted to visit and nothing was more than 20 minutes walk. Also very easy to get there from Florence airport as the hotel is close to the main train station when the airport bus terminates
The only negative was that our rooms faced the street which was noisy till late and woke me up on several occasions - exacerbated by the street being cobbled - I would ask for a room that does not face the street.
