We worked with Vinarium to arrange for two chefs (Valentina and Barbara) to come to our villa, near Volterra, to instruct our group in a cooking class. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The chefs were very professional and taught our group many great lessons on the techniques of pasta making and Tuscan cooking, as well as how to find the best ingredients and how to substitute when you don't have exactly the right ingredient, depending on what is in season and what you have in your home! Both chefs were very sweet and gracious! Everyone got the chance to try their hand at making each of the dishes we prepared. The food was phenomenal, it was so great to finally learn how to cook some of the Tuscan dishes that we have all been enjoying for years! At the end of the class they served us the dishes prepared, all paired with wonderful local wines. It was a brilliant afternoon and evening, and a memory we will never forget!
