I booked this excursion 2 weeks before flight, the price was 58 euro, but it was incredible - very interesting! And there are no a lot of people as in Uffizi gallery. We had an english-speaking guide, so inormation was quite useful.

I had mega museum fatigue and was not excited for another tour. But this was a) only 90 minutes and b) super interesting. It is a small group tour in a space that is only open to a certain amount of people and hasn't been open for long. Super cool experience.

I had been to Florence several times, but never realized this passageway existed until a few years ago. It was created back in the days of the ruling Medici family to travel from their Palazzo Vecchio, through the Uffizi Museum to the Pitti Palace across the Arno river. It came to my attention more recently upon reading the book "Inferno" by Dan Brown, since it figures quite prominently in the story. We booked a tour through Viator and met outside the museum. The guided tour was very interesting and the art on the walls of the corridor exquisite. We viewed a beautiful church that was accessed by the corridor. It ended up in the Boboli Gardens of the Pitti Palace, next to a fantastic grotto. Lots of walking, but worth every step.

We are a family group of 6 plus a baby and we booked this tour through "Florencepass.com"

We met our guide Simone at the Plaza outside of the Uffizi Gallery. We skipped the lines and took an elevator to the galleries. WOW the art is spectacular! Simone did a wonderful job explaining and getting us close to some of the very famous paintings. Then we went on a private tour of the Vasari Corridor. A mile long corridor connecting the Uffizi to the Pitti Palace. We had a long lunch break then met again at the Accademia to see "David" another WOW! The cost of then tour is expensive but it is very worth the money to have a private tour of these places. It was wonderful and the Florencepass people are very responsive to emails and all of our questions.

Real sense of history. Tranquility after the bedlam in the uffizi. Interesting pieces of art and also a very real link with the history of the city and it's past.
