“Nice stay in Florence”
Reviewed 22 May 2008

Conveniently located, these "rooms to rent" are the perfect solution to visit Florence without dilapidating a fortune! It's just a short stroll from down town, right behind the renowned "mercato" (market) square (a safe area by night too, being owercroweded with tourists!!!). Rooms are in good conditions, although a bit small, and very quiet, as long as they face the backyards. They provide you with all you can need to prepare your very italian colazione (breakfast): tea; instant coffe/cappuccino; espresso; croissants/buiscuits/bread + jam/Nutella. The same philosophy applies to the apt itself: on arrival, they will provide you with the keys to get in any time you want. Cleaned on daily basis.

This place is excellent.
Is really close from the station, and just a few steps away from Mercato Centrale and Il Duomo.
The place is really clean, the suites are new, and with a nice decoration. The bathroom is private in good conditions and clean.
The owner is really nice, also the ladies that are in charge are always ready to help you (they speak also spanish).

My husband and I renewed our wedding vows and went to Rome and Florence. The location at first is a little shaky but makes up for it in price and Daniela and her help are absolutely wonderful. They were so nice and so helpful , giving extra towels extra anything really. It was very clean and they were very organized. This is exactly what I would recommend to anyone. You are in Florence to see Florence not the hotel or B n B room. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you Daniela and Jeannette.

I stayed here with two friends. The beds were comfortable, we felt very safe, everything was very clean, and the housekeeper was extremely friendly. All amenities were as advertised. The breakfast was nothing to write home about (packaged biscuits and croissants), but it was nice to have coffee and tea in the room.

Sure, the bathroom is a bit small, but it's par for the course in the
price range. The location was quite convenient for walking to all of central Firenze.

I would certainly recommend this soggiorno to any active budget traveler looking for a place to rest his or her head.

The bathroom in this soggiorno is horrible, when we complained, the owner (by phone) was incredibly rude (yelling and everything), even threaten to charge the additional nights we were going to stay when we told her we wre leaving due to her behavior. Will never stay there again and don't reccomend it to anyone.

this b&b is in a lively area near the station.it's full of shops and restaurants.also, near the san lorenzo market.we had an apartment because there were no doubles available.it was a nice apartment up 2 flights of stairs.however,no double-glazing made it quite noisy.the breakfast provided was barely passable but it was handy to have a tea kettle.i think one can do better in florence.

You will love Daniella. I stayed in a triple just about two years ago and have been referring people to her ever since. You can't beat the price or location. And each room has its own bathroom.

A bonus: there are great restaurants nearby and laundry just down the street.

  • Liked — The price and location
  • Disliked — Check in can be a bit tricky -- Daniella is there only for specific periods of time
