Great hotel, it suits the atmosphere in the city. It is an old villa with parking space and a pool, this is big enough for the guests and clean. 10 minutes walk to the center. We had a room nearby the reception. A large room with a double bed and 2 single beds, the breakfast is simple but oke. There is no diner served but you can always ask for coffee or other drinks. It is possible to eat or sit in the garden.

Old building with dated decor with a very firendly staff. I had the opportunity to practice my italian and they gave me good information on places to visti (or not to visit) in the city. Not far from city centre with a small supermarket nearby, I also found a good painting supplies shop not far from the hotel also with very friendly sales person.

Clean Friendly and excellent value. Pool area is tranquil and 10 minutes to city centre. I unreservedly recommend this delightful villa. Staff at counter are courteous and helpful. A welcoming smile is assured. It seems to me that if everyone paid 1/2 an Euro extra the pool would be free to all but logic in Italy is not a given. This is a top place to stay.

This hotel is in a beautiful villa nearing three hundred years old. Relaxing garden with a pool, with a daily fee to use. Rooms are updated with a clean bathroom, comfortable bed, big windows, however wifi only works in the (gorgeous and inviting) common room. Breakfast is complimentary, held daily in a bright dining room. Nothing spectacular but nevertheless, free and filling. Francesco, the evening concierge was rather stoic but very helpful, giving great dinner recommendations and directions. I would recommend this hotel as it is a precious little home away from the crowds but still in the heart of Florence. By the way, we didn't have a car but noticed that parking at the hotel was a rather expensive daily charge...€25 if I remember correctly.

Stayed just one night because it had a swimming pool. Room was good and there was a small lift. You could get teas and coffees in the bar in the lounge which was lovely. Even though you had to pay for the pool (8 euros each) it was worth it for us. Staff were very helpful and recommended a nice restaurant nearby that we could eat at. Would stay here again although it wasn't very near the train station (taxi cost just under 10 euros).

Stayed three nights in mid May in this fine old building with a quiet, relaxing rear garden. It is an ideal spot for exploring the wonderful heart of the city on foot. All reception staff were very helpful, with excellent English. Breakfast was adequate (no fruit or eggs, and all drinks from machines). Room & bathroom were very clean. The shutters keep the room very dark but there was quite a lot of noise from the street from early morning.
