Location is so convenient, we could walk everywhere from this hotel. The staff are very caring and helpful and planned our stay for us with phoning round the busy tourist spots and booking us a time slot so we didn’t have to queue. Complimentary Afternoon tea and biscuits is a nice touch too! I’m sure there would be flashier hotels but I’d choose these staff and excellent value for money here.

We loved this hotel! It’s bigger and nicer than the one we stayed in in Rome , the staff was EXTREMELY helpful and they highlighted places for us on a map , breakfast was excellent and more options than the other places we have stayed as well as tea time in the afternoon. Very close to the Duomo, Uffizi , walkable to most of the big “tourist” stops. Delicious iced coffee right next door at ITIT . They let us check in early when we arrived as well. Bathroom is small but clean and shower works well, hot and good pressure ! The only thing that makes it a 4 instead of a 5 is the Wi-Fi , sometimes spotty or slow and we were right next to the desk so I feel it should’ve worked better : some days it did , other days not. My other complaint is the noise in the hallways , not sure if it’s just like that in Italy but we found that sound traveled loudly down the halls at all hours , it was a bit hot too and the fan in the room didn’t have a remote or a switch . But we would stay again because overall it was great.

I looked for a good situated location to have short ways to all the attractions of wonderful Florence. So I found the Hotel Colomba. There are not many hotels that are closer to the City, but it was not loud from the street. Rooms are really okay, the breakfast had all necessary. The Service at the reception was very friendly and helped us in and Situation. Our car was picked up by a worker of the garage that was only 2 streets away. If we come again to Florence I will ask here first.
