You arrive in Florence , this hotel is for you .

First , ask for Myako , the lovely receptionist who will take care of you and will select the room you desire . Not only you will be charmed by her , but the reception, and all personals will be so gentle to guide you with all sercvices you may look for .

1 shuttle to the train terminal , every half hour ,
2 internet
3 room , restaurant , taking care of your luggages , etc .

every thing is perfect ... you will be charmed .

The room , there are the regular one , and the spacious one . Difference is the size ,,, more space in holidays could be important ...

Rooms are a beauty , italian style ,,, your door , is a painting of a Italian Master ....incfedible ....

Time for a drink , the bar offer you the best wine , cocktail , and you may sit at the terrace ....silence , and beauty.

You decide to go out for dinner , No Tourist Trap , around the hotel like it is in the center, price will be half ... and the Reception Laura and Myako will suggest you fantastic restaurants ... Tratoria Vittoria , Tratoria DA sergio , to name those two , I will review them ,

I spent 4 days in this hotel , one thing is sure , I will be back soon .....

Room Tip: ask for the superior room , more space in always important if you stay for more than 2 days

Family stay for one night, kids, grown ups, and one wheel-chair user, on our way south to Tuscany. Easliy reached by car from the airport - avoiding the hectic city centre traffic. We arrived by rented car from the airport, and the valet parked it in the hotels private basement carpark. We had booked 3 rooms in advance, but upon arrival were offered a more wheel-chair suitable room on the ground floor. Funky ambience, romantic, modern, really cool interior, quiet location, only a short taxi ride from the city centre - or indeed within a 20 mins walking distance from The Golden Bridge. The rooms were nice and reasonably big, so were the bathrooms. The breakfast was OK - free sparkling wine, juices, toasts, cereals, pastry, fruit. cheeses. Highly reccomended, good value for money. Front office staff extremely helpful - the bartender less so.

We stayed here for four days while touring Italy and it was by far the best of the five hotels we stayed in during our trip. Staff was cordial and helpful, room was clean and bed was awesome. It is somewhat of a long walk to the center of town but it would not have been bad had it not been 95 degrees outside. Shuttle provided to the train station was on time and breakfast was very good. No real complaints here except the usual negative things we find in europe such as small rooms and no pool. Staff spoke english and were attentive. Another major plus is the bathroom was big, and a great enclosed shower which is a rarity in Europe. Highly recommend this place!

You're either going to love or hate this place. Personally, I LOVE it. This has to be the sexiest hotel in Florence: black leather walls, huge floor-to-ceiling mirrors, Bizazza mosaic bathrooms ..... and great rates.
Staff are superb (especially Federica!) and the bar man is almost as cool as the rooms.
It might seem like an adults only place, but kids love it too, I brought my little girl here once and she had great fun trying to identify the historic figures (there's a different one on each door) and loved the tiny little blue ceiling lights.

Room Tip: If you don't fancy being seen by your partner whilst you take a shower... ask for a room with a...

Just returned from 4 nights at this unusual hotel. We decided to upgrade to a superior room, from a classic, as the classic is a little too cosy ! It was a good size & a modern design with a keypad for all the different lights! it had a safe & a fridge, both very useful. the bed was large & comfortable to collapse in to after a day spent on your feet! The breakfast was very good, although the bacon could have spent more time under the grill!!
Receptionists were extremely helpful with tips for restaurants etc .
The free shuttle bus was very useful, with the hotel being a 20 minute walk from the centre & we used it a few times.
all in all a very good hotel.

Room Tip: Ask to have a room with a view & on an upper floor.

Last year in Milan I discovered a wonderful hotel group. The UNA hotels. I have stayed and enjoyed this hotel in Milan (UNA Maison) and Rome. When I decided to go for a week to Florence, I booked a room at their Florence hotel. I must admit, I looked at the pictures on the web and questioned whether or not this was the hotel for me, but my previous experiences persuaded me. And, I am so glad I did. From my arrival to departure I could not have been happier. The room, definitely Italian modern was mostly black and mirror, but the window allowed wonderful light that kept the room bright. Breakfast was lovely, at the modern S shaped table in the dining room or on the terrace. There was an abundant selection from fresh fruit to eggs to prosciutto to breads and cakes. And wonderful Italian coffee. I am a gluten free person and Giuseppe became my guide there. Each day he provided me with a wonderul choice from the Schaar products. From the desk lady, Lauren, to Said in the bar, my every wish attended to with a smile. And I was so surprised to discover that the color of the room allowed me to completely zone out at night. Once I closed the window and turned off the lights I was gone, Zzzzzz, in every respect. The UNA Vitoria was my secret castle in Florence Fairyland.

Room Tip: Rooms seem modern, but they are truly comfortable.

Sure - it may a 20 min walk to the buzz of the historic centre - but you are surrounded by the "real" Florence, there are numerous shops an services, including the best tripe stands a few minutes from the doors. The place is a quiet refuge from the hectic Florentine tourist centre. The breakfast is among the best in Italy. The choices of hot and cold items could satisfy any appeptite and dietary preferences. The staff are very approachable - and the barman at night makes the best drinks in Florence. The roms are tight - but Funky, with very comfortable beds and showers. You will love the grassy little eating area in front of the hotel as well.
