The Hotel Benivieni is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Firenzie, right around the corner from the Duomo. The rooms are clean and pleasant and the staff helpful and friendly. I have stayed there twice and would stay there again given the opportunity. It is walking distance from the train station and all of the must see attractions in the city are within walking distance as well.

In the heart of Florence. Convenient , walking distance to all main historical sites. The owner is very pleasant and willing to help anyway she can . Great breakfast . If you arrive in your car , the owner will suggest the valet service which is very convenient because driving in Florence is crazy .

Four night stay. Staff was always helpful and everyone speaks English. Rooms are small but very clean. Streetside rooms are loud due to church bells, taxis, and bar two doors down. Noise level did not bother us because we were walking from morning to night. By the end of the day, we would put the earplugs in and collapse. I would recommend this hotel.

Just returned from a 4 day break and stayed at hotel beniviene. Hotel very clean and a very good location right in the heart of all attractions very good value for money. Breakfast was ok not a lot of choice but enough. Bedrooms were quiet small but you could not fault them for cleanliness and all very modern did have some noise one night but you have to expect this if staying right in the heart of a city. Would stay here again if I was to retune to florance

Location is great. Room was clean. Bed is firm. But don't stay here... you risk getting a room like mine which is like a shoe box. I was kept awake all night by noise from reception/neighbours, fan, etc. No decoration at all. TV doesn't work. Curt service by reception staff on arrival (they obviously not happy working here) "there is no breakfast after 9.30am" I was told on arrival. Breakfast wins the prize for 'no frills' - juice from concentrate, horrible processed bread, no fruit at all. Boiled egg was fine! How awful to face another 3 nights here

The pros: location is great, price is not so bad

The cons: the rooms are not well isolated which is not ideal when you're in the center of Florence and the people in reception where the worst part.

The first night we ask to change rooms because of the street noise, the reception people told us that a family with a baby was staying there for one week and didn't complain at all so they won't change us. The second day something went wrong with the AC and we couldn't turn it off, when we ask about it they say they will try fixing it but the best solution was to open the windows to let the room temperature regulate.

This is an excellent hotel for exploring the sights of Florence. Within 100yds of the Duomo. Many restaurants/cafes/coffee shops and shops close by. The hotel appears to be family owned and the family and staff are very friendly. It appears to have been modernised recently with a veryhigh standard bathroom(shower only) I think you must expected some noise from street restaurants if you are staying in narrow streets near the Duomo. Housekeeping standards excellent.

Room Tip: Avoid a front room because of road/people noise at night
