My husband & I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hotel Benivieni. We were in Florence to visit our daughter who is studying in Florence. We discovered the Hotel is centrally located with easy walking to Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, San Lorenzo, shopping and great food. The staff were an absolute delight -- warm and friendly and able to help us when needed. I highly recommend Hotel Benivieni and look forward to our return.

This hotel was located just one block from the Duomo, a block from the major shopping streets and major museums. It is on a relatively quiet side street. The family run hotel is friendly and very helpful. They speak perfect English which helps. The rooms are quite large and comfortable. If in Florence again, we will certainly stay there. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast was one of the best we had while in Italy!

Benivieni Hotel is lovely place to stay at the very heart of Florence (literally 200 m. from the Cathedral). No need for car.
People are very friendly (always happy to help) and the place itself is very clean and tidy. Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable.
Breakfast has all you need to start the day in the good mood.
It was a nice surprise to see how quiet it was during the night, even if it was in the very center of the town.

I was traveling with a friend who is incredibly detailed her in research of where to stay. She always picked great places in other cities but THIS hotel and more importantly, the family/owners absolutely MADE the trip. The rooms we had were very clean and comfortable. The hotel is on a wonderfully quiet street but you walk down 1/2 a block and you're on one of the main thoroughfares with quick access to the Uffizi (5 minutes, if even that) down one direction and the Duomo literally one block to the right. It's an incredibly convenient location but very peaceful so you can get good rest at night. While the facilities and location are important, the family/owners truly made the trip to Italy so wonderful. They make you feel so at home, don't mind any stupid tourist question, and always have great recommendations. So stop researching hotels in Florence - THIS is absolutely the place to stay, I guarantee it.

We very much enjoyed our stay again this year. The hotel is extremely accommodating and the staff could not have been more helpful. The location is great. It has the small B&B feel but with all the class of a large hotel. The bathrooms are my favorite. While the room is smallish, we were very comfortable.

This hotel is an A+. It is located in a great part of the city, close to all the main attractions and within a 20-30 min walking distance from Florence's main train station. Staff was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. This was the only hotel I stayed in Italy that offered two single beds to a solo traveler. The room was spacious and was a very comfortable hotel room. The hotel offered free wi-fi. Breakfast was excellent and the staff brought unlimited cappuccinos at breakfast. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Florence.

Spent two nights here. Not cheap but a fantastic central location - literally 150 metres from the Duomo. Charming staff, good value breakfast buffet. Good size room- very clean, well equipped, comfortable, good bathroom. Couldn't have a more convenient location.
