Stayed at Hotel Benivieni 5-8 February '10. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody. The location is amazing - a street away from the Duomo in the heart of Florence. The hotel itself was stylish and clean throughout and we had a good sized bedroom and bathroom. The staff were really helpful with directions, booking taxis etc. The breakfast was fantastic. A great selection of food and served until 10am. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Attractive interiors. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location in Centro Storico. Everything walkable. Excellent breakfast buffet. Downside - a little more attention to soundproofing rooms (both internal and external walls) would be good, but perhaps difficult to achieve in a building of this age. Overall - great value.

For a winter's break this hotel was ideal. The staff were friendly and helpful, our large room was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm. Breakfasts were good and set you up for a day's sightseeing. The hotel is very close to the Duomo and all other attractions. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone especailly if they were planning a winter trip of relaxed sight-seeing to avoid the summer crowds and heat.

The hotel is located on a side street right by the dome, making it a perfect spot to start touring the city or make business appointments. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and a warm reception is guaranteed. The rooms are spacious and well equipped.
All in all this hotel makes you feel like having a home to come back to on every return to Florence.

Perfectly located, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Room was cozy and had enough room to get by. I've been in smaller rooms in NYC. Shower was about 2x2 so large people might have a tough time showering. Hot water was never a problem, pressure was good and the handheld shower made it easier to wash in small space. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Would return in a heartbeat and recommend it whole heartedly. Only drawback to being so close to the Duomo is the bells woke us every morning at 7 and continued throughout the day.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the city, about 2 blocks from the Duomo, walking distance to everything. I appreciated the warm welcome, and the helpfulness and friendliness of the outstanding hotel staff. A delicious breakfast is included, and each morning it was a lovely start to the day. I especially loved the capuccino, made exactly to my taste. The room was small, but big enough for the two of us, and immaculate. There was a computer available, and I never had to wait to use it. It was like staying at a quaint Bed and Breakfast, with all the advantages of being in an urban setting. I would love to come back someday.
