This was the first place we ate in Florence and despite little English from them and no Italian from us, every effort was made to make us feel welcome. The food was simple, varied and delicious-it was also inexpensive. We managed to eat there for a light evening meal as well and were fed wonderfully with complementary cold meats and cheeses. It was an excellent meal and exceptionally cheap. It in downtown Florence but if you are close by drop by it is worth it not just for the food but for authentic Italian hospitality.
