The Museo Gucci is a bite sized history of the iconic brand. The garden isn’t there to give a complete history of the brand, that would need to be exhibited at the Uffizi. Instead it’s a high level, inspiring overview of the brand and focusing on key moments and designs. It does focus quite heavily on women’s with a space dedicated to the collaboration with Bjork. Everybody that works there clearly loves their job and are very welcoming and informative. It’s truly beautiful. The store is a Gucci masterpiece and the curation is very eye catching with specific Firenze designed pieces. Prints and patterns from the original luggage. I loved it and the very lovely sales people we met! And of course they look beautifully tailored in their Gucci duster coats. Must see.

Very nice secret toilet rooms. Since it was free, I felt the few exhibits worthwhile. Not so, if you have to pay. Although small, the exhibits do give a good overview of the development of this fashion brand. Creativity abounds. Some quite surprising items from the 60s.

Very few exhibits, 25% of which I found worthy of being in a museum, definitely highly overpriced for what it offers, I wouldn't recommended it to anyone, Gucci enthusiast or other.

Museum is great for fashionistas and lovers of the brand. The menswear store lacks some clothes though. But in overall, really worth it.

My partner was very keen to see the museum and I was very pleased to oblige her. As we are both over 65, entry was free. Staff very helpful and charming. Exhibits indicate the progress of the lines in clothing , luggage and branding over the last half century and more. The design and workmanship of the 60's and 70's apparel is exquisite and prominent logos are absent from that far back. There is also great style in the later and contemporary work. Despite my minimal interest in high fashion. I enjoyed the experience and learned a bit too.
