This place, facing the old food market, has a pleasant atmosphere and the service was efficient and friendly. I suspect that normally the food is as good. But on this occasion I have to say that the wild boar ragu with pasta was sub standard. The meat was tough and contained several inedible lumps of gristle. Two of our party ordered the same dish and had the same experience, so it wasn't a one off. Having said that, the ribolita was good, as was the penne al pomodoro.
Other reviews are probably more representative of the norm, however we are not overly fussy diners and it's hard to understand how lumps of gristle can end up being served to a paying customer in a well-run restaurant.
The wine also is expensive, as there did not appear to be any well-priced vino della casa.
