“Worst experience in florence”
Reviewed 21 May 2014 via mobile

We ordered a calzone with prosciutto, and pesto pasta. The proscuitto was equivalent to American Spam, and the pesto came out of a jar. When we confronted the waiter, he became rude and aggressive.

This is my first time ever writing a review, that how bad it was.

“Nothing better than farm to table .... in Florence”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

Had a really fantastic meal last week at San Michele All' Arco. Food was very good, service was fantastic and prices were very fair. The homemade pumpkin pasta was definitely a highlight! Can't wait to go back.

“No touristy thrills over here”
Reviewed 17 October 2013 via mobile

Excelent Restaurant with food bio from their own farm. Attentious service, and you get a real taste of Tuscany. Prices are fair. Excelent wine from their own winery (several grapes and mixes). The Olive oil is superb including their own 'Laudemio'. Worth a meal.

“A unique pasta experience”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

Forget everything you know about pastas. This is a unique experience, with all ingredients fresh from the owners farm. We met the pasta chef at his shop on Via Dei Rustici earlier in the day and he recommended the ristorante. The spaghetti was unique; the fettuccine with pesto was divine. The wines are also from the farm and are a bargain for a tasting of selections by the glass. Save room for the fig and almond torte with a glass of their vinsanto dessert wine. Heaven. Lorenzo was our host and was patient with all all our questions. Highly Recommended.

“To be avoided”
Reviewed 1 July 2013

We came here in June, after reading the positive reviews, but were extremely disappointed by the food and shocked by the prices. Although attractive, this place is very pretentious as it serves very ordinary food, claiming it is all locally produced. It might well be but a burger is still a burger whatever cow it comes from and certainly not worth the price. What was most scandalous were the portions of the side dishes (the mixed grilled vegetables were literally three transparent slices). We would never come back here, as there are dozens af other places in Florence where you can eat much better for half the price.
