“delicious but pricey”
Reviewed 26 July 2013

The restaurant is beautiful The staff was very nice. The chef walks around the dining area to insure the guests are enjoying the food and ambiance. He was very Italian, reminded my of one of the famous artist, yet handsome. The host was very accommodating to our needs. We are used to eating around 6:00 so we felt it opened late for us, 7:30. I guess this is typical of Italy. We waited around one hour to open. It was worth the wait.

“Nice place to sit back, eat, drink and people watch”
Reviewed 12 November 2012

Fine home cooked food! Varied cooked food selection to choose from. What we had was always good. My wife and i always liked just hanging out in front of this, it's just across all'antico vinaio. We even met a local and his dog Benito. We had a nice chat that just added to our great stay in Florence

“A deli, rotisserrie and bread baker....all in one.”
Reviewed 9 October 2012

They were the only thing open on a Sunday morning in this neighborhood. Walked by it a dozen times over the weekend, since it was a block away from our hotel (AC Firenze). It always looked good in there. I was happy with everything we ate from here, but in all instances, I was taking food back to our hotel room.
Everything is nicely displayed on the front counter, inside the glass case. They weigh it out, pack it up, and off you go. We had beautiful ham, peas and potatoes and freshly baked bread.
