“Adorable boho cafe with fantastic food & service”
Reviewed 11 October 2013

Oh wow! What a find this gorgeous cafe was on our most recent trip to Florence; we stumbled across it while searching for the Ceramics Fair at SS Annunziata & ordered a "St Pietro" sandwich each. Whooo! What a delicious feast - and huge portions, so we could only squeeze in half a Nonna cake in our tums afterwards. Delicious cappucinos and the staff are just amazing, especially the owner who sings *chuckle*

A tiny cafe (seats about 14 at a real push?) with funky decor - loved Shrek's Donkey guarding the beer pumps! - fantastic food from breakfast right through to dinner and excellent value for money.

A definite favourite on our list and one I will be sure to visit regularly when I spend more time in Florence next year!!!!

“Casual gem”
Reviewed 7 October 2013 via mobile

This little place was delightful. Very inexpensive and very good but nothing fancy. We had a couple of Spritz Aperol, a new favorite drink just discovered on this trip to Italy. We took refuge one day in a rain storm and enjoyed it so much we returned later in the week.

“microwaved food...”
Reviewed 14 September 2013

i recently visited this cafe with some friends while on holiday in florence after seeing so many positives reviews i was expecting a great lunch but i couldn't have been more disappointed. The decor is cute and quirky but unfortunately the food really lets the place down. My friends and i all ordered pasta and i was horrified to see the waiter remove pasta from a plastic ready meals container and microwave it before our very eyes ... if i wanted a microwaved dinner from a packet i would have stayed at home...on top of that my pasta wasn't even microwaved fully and was cold in the middle,it was also quite tasteless. maybe this is a nice place for a coffee but i really wouldn't recommend eating here!

“Nice time every time in Un Caffe”
Reviewed 10 September 2013

I visited Florence this year for like 9 days and was about 5 times in this cafe/restaurant for lunch. Its very small place - like 3 tables and 12 chairs in total + 2 bar chairs. There is very friendly atmosphere with very pleasent music and personal every time. Ideal for quick lunch and espresso. The lunch menu for just 6 EUR consists of 1x meal (usually some pasta, you have like 10 choices), 1x 500ml bottled water and 1x espresso. Lunch was very good every time, even though the meals are just heated up for you in a microwave. Dont know how they do it but I think that they make the meals for the following day at home, or some restaurant makes it for them, and than they will sell it over the lunch time. Anyway its good, and epresso is excellent there, best I had in Florence when I was there I think (had espresso in like 10 different places). And overall price - quality ratio is great, so its definitely worth a visit, especially for quick lunch and/or coffee. You will not find many places like this in Florence.

“Funky and friendly”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

This is a tiny little cafe/bar nearby the Piazza Santissima Annunziata. There are a couple of tiny tables on the pavement, and a few more tables inside, so it's cosy. The bar staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. We stopped in for a drink and ended up staying for several more, with complimentary snacks and Limoncello as the evening went on! The music is great, the atmosphere is relaxed and cool. I can't wait to go back some day!
