This little piece of Firenze made our trip from a gastronomy point of view. Nestled in an amongst some rather high end, expensive restaurants, this authentic Italian restaurant with its no more than 6 tables will give you a real piece of Italian culture.
The menu is simple, with variety, but what really makes it so special is the fresh selection of cheeses and cured meats that the owner uses to prepare the various dishes.
A highlight for us was the marinated olives, the pasta and of course their pizza'a with its generous portions of cheeses and meat.
And of course the wine! For as little as €6 you can enjoy a large carafe (750ml) of house red wine. And the owner quite happily gave us another bottle of red wine when the house wine had run out for the same price as the house red.
Overall, this place is a great find and if the food, wine, location doesn't impress you then the charming owner will.
