Description: We are at the beautiful Tower of Marsilis, where you can admire the Della Robbia's terracotta of "the Annunciation". Inside you will find a big selection of wines and a lot of tuscan products, balsamic vinegar and olive oil!! We do wine tastings, and you can eat with us! We have an accurate selection of salamis and cheese from Tuscany.

My boyfriend and I visited obseqvium in August 2013, we were touring italy and being quite 'foodie' we were very keen to taste the wine, cheese and olive oils of Tuscany, so pre-booked a wine tasting experience online before we travelled. When we arrived we were surprised to find we were the only people on the tasting event. We were a little early but made welcome and took the opportunity to scour the shelves checking out the wealth of stock before we sat down for our wine, cheese and olive oil tasting experience. Our sommelier Alicia was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, able to answer all the questions we gave her without making us feel silly, and made us feel right at home! The great quality wines were paired with delicious cheeses and the tasting of olive oils was very new to us, but we found it very interesting
to hear that there is more to olive oil than we thought! Our particular highlight of the experience was working our way through a box of scents, trying to work out what we could smell and taste in our wine! Overall we had a lovely, interesting, relaxed and above all delicious evening! Alicia stayed in contact with us even after our visit, answering some further questions we posed to her about wine decanters a few months after our trip even! A very personal and professional service from a great little shop! Highly recommended! In fact don't go to Florence without popping in!!

Best value in town for Prosecco - 4 euros for a glass of bollicini prosecco, best we've had in Italy. Amazing selection of reds, I loved the SuperTuscan Bolgherese for 7 euro per glass. Great staff. We've been back 3 times and will go once more before leaving.

We booked this through Viator.com. We tasted 3 wines, 2 olive oils and 3 cheeses that complimented the wines. The sommelier was very knowledgeable about the wines and helped us appreciate the differences in the aromas and flavors of the wines. She was very helpful in assisting us in understanding why you pair certain wines with certain foods and understanding how the wines get their flavors. We plan to go back before we leave to buy some of the wines we drank since they are not sold in the states. In addition, their balsamic vinegar assortment is out of this world. I plan to buy that too. Great experience. Very knowledgeable. I would trust them to find me just the right wine.
