The David Inn's owner Nadia was extremely friendly and very helpful. Her passion for her city was obvious and made the city all the more enjoyable. The other staff were also very helpful. The hostel is clean and the rooms have a reasonable amount of space. The location was perfect with plenty of restaurants near by. The hostel is situated between halfway between the Duomo and the Acadamia. The atmosphere of the hostel was great and meeting people was a breeze. A washing can also be used for 7 euros which was very handy. The only downsides to this hostel is that the showers are a bit small and that the rooms got a little bit hot, though it was unusually warm in the city during our stay. However these gripes are minor and should not deter you from staying in this fantastic hostel!

Its an excellent find in a great location. Was very well taken care of by Nadia who made us feel welcome. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable with lots of personality and glitter. Would recommend this hostel and would go back if using florence as a base again.

Great location, clean hostel. Small kitchen, dont have towels. Nadia helped us with onde problem: selling an extra ticket for one museum. But what is a bit upseting is that you can only leave your bags there until 5 pm after check out, which is bad if you have a late night train - like us. We had to pay 6 euros per bag to put our bags on the train station. On every other hostel we stayed on our trip we were alloud to live the bags until later.

I came to Florence without any room booked, not even research about it! What a wrong start for a touristic city like Florence! So, i walk through with my backpack on, while checking google map suggestions. After some hostels which is not in my budget, or fully booked, i stumbled upon David inn. Nadia greeted me, showed me around before i made my decision to stay. And i definitely stayed! It was great 2 nights in Florence.
I stayed in 6 mix dorm. My bed was good, i slept really well, the room was spacious, and the hot shower was good. The kitchen was tiny, but it was good, i prepared my coffee and breakfast there. The hostel staff was really helpful and sweet. There was a computer in my room, it was really good! I booked my room for the next city from there.

Everything was good, even my dorm mates, they were really nice, we hung out a bit.

We stayed here 3 nights, I had to switch beds the last night and couldn't sleep. Woke up covered in bed bug bites , many with blisters. The place is very loud and you can hear everything like its in the same room. Only 2 showers for 20ish people. Too bad cuz Nadia is very nice. Dud I mention the bed bugs? Gross, and very itchy.
