I happened to stumble upon to this place. For 4 euro you can do your panini with 4 ingredients of your choice. The house wine was absolutely AMAZING! great friends ambience and good music.

“What a sandwich!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2014

My wife and I arrived mid afternoon in Florence and while we were waiting for our room, the concierge recommended Panbriaco, just a stones throw from our hotel. We both ordered a sandwich and had some of the excellent Chianti Classico to go with them. The place is small and unassuming, but let me tell you, the food (and wine) were excellent. I had the porchetta on the freshest bread and I can honestly say, it was one of the best sandwiches i've ever had!

If you do happen upon this establishment, I cannot recommend enough the pochetta, you will not be disappointed! Also as others have posted, the gelato place opposite is pretty good also.

“Wonderful place for lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2014 via mobile

Panbriaco was a great stop for lunch. The sandwiches were made in front of us and were incredibly delicious. With a choice of focaccia or panini bread and a wide selection of meats, cheeses and toppings I can highly recommend it. Enjoy sitting outside on a barrel style table and people watch whilst you eat. Very enjoyable :)

“Delicious and fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014

I don't usually describe a sandwich as memorable, but the food at Panbriaco is so good that I keep thinking about it, weeks later. Fennel sausage, flavorful cheese, tomatoes, pesto - all on a beautiful chunk of fresh, crusty bread, with a glass of very good wine. My husband had a mixed plate of cured meats, cheeses and vegetables, also with a glass of good wine. Friendly atmosphere, too - plus a few outdoor tables to enjoy in good weather.

“Make sure to stop by! ”

Hidden gem nearby Florence's Duomo. They have great cheese, cold cuts, bread and toppings. What else can you ask for in a sandwich?

Accompany you selection with a glass of wine and seat down in their outdoor searing area for a memorable meal in the streets of Florence.
