stayed here for Easter 2013, and really enjoyed it....their rooms are very nicely decorated....looks like they are designer rooms, and this fattoria very well represents the typical tuscan farm/winery.....it still has some old wine making machinery used in the old times....

breakfast was nice and good, not much choice, but all was fresh and tasty....and last thing, but not least, the staff are so welcoming and nice....definitely will go again!!

Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay at this charming Tuscan farm. The grounds were rustic with many hidden treasures for the children to explore. The view over Galluzo was breathtaking. The pool was refreshing and well maintained. We awoke every morning to the sounds of roosters crowing in the distance. Over our coffee in the morning we could hear the chimes of church bells from the town below. Our stay was so peaceful that already I am longing for our return....

Look no further than Fattoria Il Milione when travelling to Florence with your family. This was a lovely stay for everyone in our multi-generational family of 6 during a weekend in Tuscany. Despite some rain and mist, the views of Florence from the hillside location are beyond description. The rooms were delightfully charming and comfortable with excellent sleeping options and a HUGE bathroom! We also enjoyed dinner at the Osteria, a gourmet delight (be sure to take home a bottle of two of their chianti and olive oil). Totally recommend breakfast at the Fattoria which was plentiful and delicious. The only issue with Fattoria Il Milione was that we had to leave!

Room Tip: We loved the Limone.

We stay a weekend in a House at the end of this beautiful farm. It was a very good place to charge our batteries. We had also a extraordinary culinary experience at the restaurant inside the farm, the food was great and the wine excellent. Somehow i imagined Leonardo da Vinci walking in this hills and drawing. Recommended for couples.

Loved Fattoria Il Milione and love it more with fading memories of our September (2011) holiday in Italy. This place is ideal for visitors to Florence, who are with the car. For good value you can find peaceful and beautiful accomodation just a short and easy ride from Florence center. Friendly staff, nicely restore farmhouse with rooms, another rooms located in small cottages in the large areal. Nice swiming pool, lots of olive trees, vineyeards. Breakfast is charged extra, but worth the price, since Fattoria is out of city and I would not bother to trave to shop for food in the morning. Osteria in the property was good, seems like a popular romantic dining place for Florentians. Quite pricey, though, but this is Italy - i.e. all restaurants are pricey, and food here was at least very good.

Room Tip: Ask the receptionist to show you the rooms. There is a main farmhouse where rooms can enjoy library...

It was a wonderful experience to stay at the picturesque Fattoria Il Milione, a farm which produces its own wine and olive oil. Only a 20 minute drive from Florence, a car with a GPS is a must to find the place. We stayed at Casa Torre Apartment in the I Rossi complex which is at the far end of the property, overlooking the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Osteria del Milione, the restaurant on the farm, had some of the best food we had in Italy and that's saying something. Don't bother with the continental breakfast which is not from Osteria. Some of the apartments could use a little more upkeep and there are a lot of mosquitoes (well it is on a farm). The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful but could have used the aircon which wasn't quite ready at that time.

I got married in Florence on 30.06.11 and my wedding party stayed here for 4 nights. If you stay here you WILL need a car! Its about a 15 - 20 mins drive from Florence downs some lovely little lanes. The location is good as its lovely and quiet, you are surrounded by vines and olive groves. We booked most of the I Rossi accommodation as there was 24 of us staying. I loved the fact there was a big court yard so we sat outside most nights and all had a drink together. Some of the appartments are better than others. There was a problem with the AC in some of the appartments so it got very hot - as soon as i contacted reception he'd arranged someone to come and service its. Most of the appartments are very basic. My appartment didn't have a kettle and the i found the gas hob wouldn't light so i also mentioned this to Reception.
The beds are comfortable and all the appartments were very clean. We all got LOADS of bites so take you spray! The swimming pool was brilliant - very clean and nice. The wine and oil from Il Milione is lovely and they even make honey! Yum!
There is a lovely little town just down the road with shops to buy food. We didn't have breakfast at the accommodation as we found it cheaper to buy our own food.
I would stay here again as i now have fond memories here but i'd bring LOADS of bite cream!
