I stayed for two nights and was given an upgrade to a beautiful suite (although the wifi in the room was down). The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the position (2 minutes walk from the Duomo) couldn't have been better and all at an excellent price!

I stayed at Palazzo Galletti in June for four nights in a standard room and the last night in a suite, due to extending my stay and limited availability. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and thought the suite was fantastic value for money. Travelling on my own, it was probably overkill to have such a large room, but it was beautifully decorated and had a lovely bathroom. If I am ever able to return, I would book a suite without hesitation! The owner recommended booking directly with the hotel, as they provide a much cheaper rate (160 euros for the suite) and they save the best rooms for these guests. Breakfast was basic, but lovely. Mini bar prices were fantastic!

Room Tip: Book a suite!

This is an absolutely fantastic little hotel. The location is perfect - walking distance to all the sights that you will want to see in Florence. The rooms are each decorated differently and lovely with large, modern bathrooms. Beds are comfortable, rooms are quite, and the price is reasonable for a major European city. The owners are extremely accommodating and helpful. If you are running late, just call them. They made great suggestions for everything that we needed to do and helped with reservations for dinners, tours, etc. Even let us use computers and internet for booking tours. I would not stay anywhere else in Florence. Overalll, the best place we stayed in Italy.

Room Tip: Some rooms are larger than others but all are lovely. TIP: Book directly for the best rates and rooms.

This palazzo has been transformed into a very unique B&B. The rooms have soaring frescoed ceilings and are decorated with antiques while the bathroom is completely updated and modern. My husband loved this place. The owners were very charming and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better central location. Safe area - good trattorias nearby - easy access to all tourist attractions. This is a historic building so don't expect an elevator to help you take the luggage to the reception area which happens to be upstairs. Big plus was the A/C since it was 30C in Firenze. (About 90F)
