It was difficult to leave Florence after the wonderful experience my husband and I had at the Antica Dimora. We had planned on staying for 5 nights but ended up staying longer, after our plans were changed due to bad weather conditions in Venice. Our room was lovely, and every detail was attended to. This charming, cozy hotel is located in the historic district. Therefore, all of the major attractions are well within walking distance. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby and also a laundry, ATM and grocery stores. Great shopping for leather or Florentine crafts at the market a few blocks away near the Doumo. I can't say enough about the remarkable staff at this beautiful hotel. Amanda attended to booking our transfer to the airport, and gave excellent advice about where to go and what to do. It was so hard to leave such a beautiful place...and such wonderful people. Thank you for making our trip to Florence a memory that we will treasure forever.

My husband and I stayed at the Antica Dimora Firenze for our honeymoon and this place was spectacular. The apartment was bigger than what we expected and so comfortable to just hang out in. Even though we were in Italy on our honeymoon trying to see everything, we spent a lot of time in our apartment cooking and relaxing because the place was so nice. The shower was really powerful and large and so was the rest of the bathroom. The market is right in front of the place and we enjoyed going to the market and getting produce and comming back and cooking in the kitchen. It was almost like we were at our own place. They had a person you could contact to make any kind of arrangements you would need and they even had activities you could do, we did a pizza lesson with a real pizaole from Naples and it was fantastic, one of the favorite things we did in Italy!! I would recommend this to anyone is who is visiting the area, you really feel like you are a part of Florence. If we return to Italy, this is definately where we will stay each time!! Thanks again for everything, the place was perfect!!

My friend and I had a lovely stay at the Antica Dimora Firenze. The property was ideally located in the historical center of Florence -- within walking distance of all of Florence's main attractions and the train station. Our room was quaint and charming (Room #3). Breakfast every morning was lovely -- tea, coffee, pastries, salami and cheese, cereals, granola, yogurt, toast and jam. They also had a convenient "honor" bar available at all times, as well as complimentary fruit, nuts, tea, coffee, and biscotti.

Amanda, the manager on duty during the day was sweet as can be -- she was very helpful in her suggestions (restaurants, attractions) and helped us plan a day trip in the Chianti wine district. I would recommend this B&B to anyone and I would certainly stay here again if I am ever back in Florence.

I went there with a friend of mine for a WE in Florence. The hotel is in a charming Florence style house less than 10 min walk from the heart of the city (which I personally think is better than being right in the center for noise purposes). Rooms are lovely, antique style furniture and nice details such as bed sheets, blankets and curtains make the rooms very confortable and unique. The main living room of the hotel, with its sofas, dining table and old style paintings and its classical music, makes you feel at home. The neighbourhood is quiet. You feel like staying in an elegant countryside house full of taste. I loved the old-syle Florence details and will absolutely come back.

My daughter and I spent the first night of our Florence vacation at Antica Dimora Firenze. It was beautiful! The staff was so helpful! The hospitality was wonderful, they loaned us laptops and DVD's to watch movies. There was a breakfast included but we slept through it.
The next day they took us to The Market House, which is a sweet little apartment that they have for the rest of our 11 nights in Florence. It was a wonderful place for a Christmas family reunion. My son (studying abroad) met us there and we really enjoyed being able to give him a "home away from home' for Christmas. The kitchen was stocked with olive oil, coffee, tea and a jar of biscotti that kept being refilled. (They even had milk in the fridge for us.) Every three days, maids came to clean and change linens. We were in a great location right near a market and able to but fresh food to prepare meals if we didn't want to eat out. We were within walking distance of everything. At Christmas a special Christmas cake and a poinsettia appeared from the staff.
We loved out time together in Florence and the people from Antica Dimora Firenze made it all so fantastic. They even ordered out taxi to the airport as we had to leave at 4:30 am to catch out flight. I would highly recommend both of theses places to stay as well as any of their other properties.

We stayed at the Antica Dimora hotel for our honeymoon in December 08 and it was absolutely perfect! The rooms are beautifully decorated and we were made to feel really at home. Amanda, who was a very welcoming hostess, gave us some fantastic recommendations for restaurants, so we ate like a King and Queen, and we left Florence already planning our return visit! Highly recommended!
