This was our 2nd visit to Italy and just as on our 1st trip last year to Rome we appreciated the airy rooms with large windows in the older buildings letting in the fresh October air during our comfortable three night stay. Pamela and staff do anything they can to make for a pleasant stay. The hotel is centrally located and our room overlooked the Piazza Signoria. As in Rome you will want to close the windows when turning in for the night as the Piazza can get noisy. We were three weeks in Tuscany and one regret we have is not staying longer in Florence. After visiting the Uffizi and the Accademia Gallery you've really only had the surface of Florence. When planning our trip it turned out that Saturday nights were particularly hard to book so were only able to reserve only thru Friday. Thanks to Pamela and Costanza for a wonderful stay. Next time we'll plan a longer stay. Also to note: the restaurants located right on the Piazza are pretty good, not just for tourists.
