We spent a night at this B&B and was not disappointed. Our room had a good size and both looked and smelled clean. We even got our own buildt-in balcony. The noise from the street on a Friday night was pretty loud and we had to close all windows and the balcony door to get any sleep (and dispite this it was quite noisy).

The location is great, but be aware that it is on the fourth floor of the building.

Free wifi and breakfast is always a bonus while travelling. The girl serving us breakfast was also really nice and friendly :-)

We thank Gianni and his team very much for their excellent hospitality and warm welcome. We have very much enjoyed our stay in Florence and staying at this cosy B&B has definitely added value. The central location, the quiet and beautiful rooms and the kind hospitality have made us feel home away from home.

We hope to return to Forence (and certainly to this B&B) again soon.

I had a very nice experience at this B&B. Nice size rooms, nicely working air conditioning (it was very hot during my visit), nice breakfast and reliable wifi. They were very accommodating in letting me stay an additional night because of unexpected travel changes. Personnel was very friendly. I really enjoyed the personal touch.

Thank you, Daniela and Gianni, for having a wonderful time in Firenze! B&B "A-Teatro" was really nice and hospitable! We shouldn't have paid in advance - there was a big opportunity for us as commisions for bank transfer in our country are usually extremely high. Then we confused Daniela with the dates but she left a room for us anyway! The IVORY room was really great! Very lightful, sunny and comfortable. Moreover it had a terrace with a quiet and nice view of Firenze - like a real dream! The service was excellent! Tasty breakfasts in a warm atmosphere! Much useful information about the city, wi-fi and clean beautiful rooms with an individual approach! )))
And, of course, the location was perfect! we reached on foot from Santa Maria Novella railway station (it took us about 25 min). 10 min on foot - Duomo! 5 min on foot - Santa Croce Church! We could reach all the greatest places in the center on foot!
I am sure "A-Teatro" is the best combination of reasonable price, excellent service and convenient location! We will definitely come back to Firenze thanks to "A-Teatro"!

Warmest regards from Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan

The rooms were large, the bathrooms need some renovation however they are in a ok state, sheets and towels were a little too worn out Breakfast needs improving!! There is absolutly no one there after noon, so if you need any help or anything (even a taxi) forget it, you should book it in advance, we had no problem with that but I imagine some people will. Its well located, meters away from the Piazza Santa Croce and in a walkable distance from all the main atractions in the city.

We had a fantastic, large room with a terrace. The view was beautiful. The room was very clean and quiet. The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere from here (but it is a 15 min. bus ride to the train station)! The breakfast was a bit repetitive and sometimes they ran out of croissants. We had the option of taking a breakfast tray out to our terrace to eat. The staff are only around until about 11am or 12pm so if you have questions or need assistance, the morning is the only time to ask. I have already recommended this place to friends.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a terrace. There are only 2 rooms with a terrace.

We got the room with a terrace, and have had an altogether fantastic experience. The view from the terrace convinced us to stay in two evenings in a row to make our own romantic dinners.
The location is a little bit away from the train station, which can be stressful if you need to make it to a tour that departs early in the morning.
Clean, helpful and friendly staff, good Internet and collection of tour brochures.
I will definitely recommend this to my friends when they visit.
