Owner description: This ancient palazzo is layered with history, starting from the Middle Ages. It gives a fascinating and valuable look into a typical wealthy home of the Medieval to Renaissance era, complete with frescoes and period furniture.

This museum is a delightful view of what it would have been like (if you had a bit of money) to live in Florence back in the Medieval period. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and there are so many rooms to explore. Tours are available, but you can wander around and read some of the papers available throughout to get a little information. It's never too crowded, so any time you visit should be fine. Be prepared to climb up flights of stairs to visit all the rooms.

We were group of friends, who went 10 days road trip through all Italy. This was one of our destination to see.... Visit you have time, otherwise, there is nothing to see...

This gem is a short distance from other major attractions, but seems to be a bit off the beaten path and was wonderfully uncrowded when we visited. Step inside for a glimpse of life in Florence during the Renaissance. Pay close attention to the architectural details like bathrooms and fireplaces. The entire lace is relatively small and can be seen in less than an hour, but is well worth the 2Euro admission.

A quiet little gem of a museum away from the crowds. Stunning Renaissance town house. Only 2 Euros to visit. Full of interesting items (a medieval en-suite on every floor), beautiful frescoes on the bedroom walls. We also were in time for a guided tour of the kitchens on the top floor.
