“Excellent service & design”
Reviewed 24 October 2013

Brand new hotel, located out of the touristic area of Florence, therefore the location is good if you want to be in a quiet area.

The staff is nice and friendly, they have great suggestions for making your trip a better one. They use the parking lot of the business next door, so you need to leave the keys at the reception.

Breakfast is great. WiFi works in the whole hotel. Rooms are simple but with a good design, is a great value for your money.

I stayed here with some family to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. The hotel was a pleasant surprise in its comfort and reasonably chic design. Some reviewers complained about there being a relatively small number of places to eat or other things to do in the area; if you want the city center of Florence this hotel is not for you as the area seemed more residential although still urban. There are a handful of good, and judging from the number of locals popular, restaurants in the area as well as at least one nice Patisserie. I recommend this hotel.

There were two minor issues that could have been better: The internet supports only connecting from one device. I purchased internet access, logged in with and then out from my laptop and logged on from my Kindle, but when was unable to log into the laptop again until the Kindle's connection had timed out. This connection was reasonably fast. When I mentioned this to the main desk they said they couldn't reset it, but they gave me another access code which worked but seemed much slower. When my original connection had timed out and I was again able to log in with it, it was again much faster than the one the main desk had given me. I don't know if this was a coincidence or if there are 2 tiers of service. Anyway - to my surprise when I checked out in the morning the attendant told me my internet would be free, although when I originally signed up it said it would cost 10 Eur. Overall this was a minor issue. The paid internet that I signed up for directly online is fast enough that I could work interactively on a computer back in the US, although the one the main desk gave me was not.

I scheduled a wake-up call that for some reason never came. I think this may have been because my family was staying in 2 rooms and there may have been some mixup as to who wanted a wake-up call at what time. This was a minor issue as I always set a second alarm.

Overall I was happy with this hotel, would recommend it and stay there again. The staff at the main desk were very helpful whenever we asked them for anything, scheduling a taxi pickup for us ahead of time (there is no shuttle to the airport but the taxi ride is short), taking care of my internet problem, arranging for our bags to be taken to our rooms, recommending restaurants nearby and otherwise trying to be genuinely helpful.

I had booked this hotel for one night on our way back home because of it's proximity to the airport. The place was very pretty, very new, chic and updated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Their bar is okay, there is no bartender but you just have to ask someone at the desk for a drink. They have one type of red and white wines - you have no choice. The room was very clean and it was perfect size (for Europe and even North America!!!). There is no restaurant at the hotel, the hotel does make two recommendations, one being Pizza Man.... We may be one of the few people who didn't like it, at all (see that review). Overall it was perfect for an in and out stay. Is a little far from the touristy area, keep that in mind when booking. The staff is fabulous - all speak English very well. They are polite and friendly :)

A great hotel in Florence for a very good price!

People who work there are really nice and friendly. Breakfast is amazing!!! Rooms are really nice and modern, one of the best rooms I have ever stayed at in Italy. Hotel is about 20 minutes away from the old town on the bus.

Couple very important things to watch out for: parking lot is tiny and there are very few spots (6). However, there is tons of parking outside.

The bus: the bus stop is right next to the hotel (20 meters). They go very often on weekdays, less often on weekends (like once every 45 minutes). Last bus leaves Florence at 10:30 pm. Be careful, make sure you know what time you are coming back before you leave for the night :).

Overall great value and it is very good for a short stay while taking day trips (we took one to Pisa). The hotel is right next to the highway so that's very convenient.

This is a great hotel. It met all my requirements: clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, tea and coffee making facilities (not always a given in Italy), pleasant staff, free internet, and a bar. Granted, it's not in the centre, but there's a bus stop right opposite the hotel, and it takes around ten minutes. Plus, after a day being relentlessly jostled in the narrow streets of Florence, I was happy to escape. There's also Sky television and free internet, and the breakfast is very nice. Another benefit: there's a great pizzeria across the street called Pizza Man. We found it incredibly difficult to land anywhere in the heart of Florence to eat that didn't set itself out as a tourist joint to some degree, but Pizza Man is a typical Italian pizzeria, with just as many (if not more) locals as tourists.

Everything about this hotel is minimalist but it has everything you need. The room is clean with minimalist design ie though small but you have sufficient space for luggage for two people. Breakfast is simple but healthy and wholesome. The front desk service was also great. We overstayed our reservation days (a mistake of my own) but the hotel did not charge a penalty or higher rate. The location is not in city centre but a short bus ride to SMN station-- generally manageable.
