We stayed with Flaminia for one night in late May of this year while traveling with my girlfriend and parents. The B&B itself was gorgeous. Very clean - very well kept - it almost felt like a boutique hotel. Our room overlooked the southern portion of Florence and the rear courtyard which was incredibly quaint. The location is a bit outside of the city, but no longer than a mile walk to some of the main tourist locations. It was VERY easy for us to find a parking spot for our rental right on the street.
The best part about SanGaggio House was the hostess, Flaminia. When we arrived she gave us a map and showed the best way to get some of the tourist attractions in Florence and other things to see while we were there. She also suggested a few local restaurants where local people go to eat instead of the tourist traps close to the city. We had probably the best dinner of our entire trip at a trattoria down the street (Ruggero, I believe), which Flaminia suggested.
My only regret is that we didn't get to stay another day! I will definitely stay here again if I ever get back to Florence.More
