The breakfast was very good and lot :) Fruits, and home made cookies. The breakfast was in the terrace, it was beautiful. The room was good too, and the owner was very kind. The parking was really free :) The bus stop is close. +++ a family runned business :)

A bit of a walk (approx 40 mins) from the train/bus station, up a couple of very steep hills! We advise getting the bus (no 36/37) to stop San Gaggio 5 and walking back down the hill to the b&b. Bus tickets are €1.40 for a single 90 minute ticket, buy from a tobacconist. (There are currently a few disruptions to this service due to road works so ensure you check before you get on).

We were allowed early check in which was so helpful. The room is cosy but adequate with some beautiful period furniture and a vaulted ceiling with cornicing.

Bathroom has all the essentials. We did struggle for hot water at peak times though!
There's also a fridge and plenty of complimentary teas and coffee's.

Breakfast is amazing! Such a lovely spread of cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast & jams, home made cakes and juices! We ate outside on the terrace. All yummy.

The family are so attentive and kind. We were able to use the washing machine (we've been travelling for a month so was very welcome!) for just 5€, they even pegged the clothes out to dry for us whilst we were out!

Such a lovely place. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Florence. Not far from the center, it was an easy walk down but a little uphill back when you return nevertheless that's a good exercise after eating your heart out. What really touched us were the friendly hosts Augustino and his mother , what lovely people who were so helpful and informative. I wish I had extra time to chat to them and get more insights into Italy and Italians. Augustino even returned back us his part of the commission on booking a wine tour through them which was such a lovely gesture. Who does that in today's time. And the day we were checking out catching an early train to Venice, Aunty packed breakfast for me without us requesting for it like my mother would. She was the highlight of my 2 weeks trip and this will be a memory forever in my heart. It's people like them that you meet during your travels and carry back fond memories of forever.

My daughter and I stayed in this wonderful B and B which is a short walk from the 36 and 37 buses. The house is over 100 years old, the room was furnished beautifully and was a refreshing change from the American hotel chains. Augustino really extended himself - he picked us up from an evening concert when we were unable to find a taxi and gave us pastries from breakfast to snack on our evening flight. Our time in Florence was even more special because of Augstino and his parents. I would highly recommend this B&B. Thank you Augustino for a wonderful stay!
