Stayed here with friends for a week. The location was quiet and the rooms spacious for a European hotel. The facility was very clean and modern. Loved the rooftop deck and view of Duomo. Hotel is about 1/2 mile walk from city center but bus stop is one block and tram one block away. €1.20 for each. Front desk staff is very helpful. Enjoyed the bar area in the evening, chatting with others staying at hotel. Had Breakfast one morning which was OK. Only change I would like to see are coffee or hot water pots in each room. But coffee was free in restaurant.

We stayed here as part of a tour group. The hotel is well located next to the main train station and is an easy 20min stroll into the old city centre.
He hotel facilities where as expected laundry service was punctual and to a high standard. Our standard room was generous and well appointed for a stay of a few nights.
Like most modern hotels it lacked any character or charm though this is hardly the hotels fault.
The biggest disappointment was no free wifi in the rooms only in the foyer. In 2014 surely the hotels must realize that wifi is the 'keep in touch tool' of choice, have 20 or so people clustered in the foyer all trying to access the wifi is just acceptable.
I would stay here again if I needed to.

Enjoyed the hotel and the staff was great. Location was a bit further away from all the sites, but the Tram line made it tolerable. Staff was helpful in assisting us with our credit card issues and did not charge us for the calls. Only issue is the walls are paper thin and doors slam preventing this from being a 5 star review.

I will start by stating that we stayed here on points from Marriott. We stayed in November 2012, though I cannot add the date accurately here.

Our experience here was in keeping with a better Marriott business hotel: clean and modern room; convenient to city center and landmarks; great neighborhood restaurants; and helpful staff. While the immediate surroundings were less than historical, this did not detract from the hotel. The area was safe to walk after a late dinner, though we were not out later than 10:00.

We only ate one meal at the hotel, a dinner that was very good.

Our children enjoyed the stay here. The walk to public transportation may a bit long for toddlers not in strollers, but for out kids (8 and 12 at the time) it was just fine, as was the full walk to the Duomo.

We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Choose rooms at the end of the corridor. If needing rooms together make sure to arrange this ahead o...

Modern, quiet and quite convenient hotel. Rather lacking in warmth and character. Maintenance is a bit poor (trendy sink leaked onto bathroom floor and extractor fan did not work - reported but not fixed). Rooms rather clinical and beds rather hard. Had to fight to get in-room tea/coffee making kit provided and this chain do not provide free breakfast fro Marriot Gold card holders so watch out for an extra €24 on your bill daily for a couple. The front-desk got a bit overwhelmed at times with guests.

We stayed at this AC the evening of April 1, 2014 before returning to the US from Florence. The hotel is located in a residential-industrial neighborhood. We only chose it because of its proximity to Peretola Airport. When we got to our room on the 3rd floor, the temperature was about 85F (29C). We turned the thermostat down to its lowest setting but only warm air came out of the vent. We opened the windows, but because we were on the sunny side of the building it did not help. We called the front desk. We were first told to turn off all the lamps and the TV and that they would start the air conditioning in our room from the front desk. After 15 minutes with no change we called the front desk again. We were then told that the hotel has no air conditioning and that they would move us to a room on the shady side of the building. Our new room was better, but by no means comfortable. We kept the windows closed because of all the noise coming from the apartment complex across the street, including singing, trash being thrown into garbage cans, motorcycles and talking. It was very cool outside so we couldn't understand why the hotel didn't pump outside air into the rooms even if it doesn't have air conditioning. We also noticed that the building's public area temperatures were very comfortable. If you are a business traveler in need of a good night's sleep, we would not recommend this hotel if hot temperatures bother you. Another problem with this hotel was the rooftop terrace. When we checked in, the front desk told us to take advantage of it. As you can see by the photos, the furniture was filthy. We aren't clean freaks by any measure, but we didn't want to expose our skin and clothes to the dirt. Aside from the negatives, the bar and restaurant staff were very friendly, the breakfast buffet was also excellent. The room and bath were modern and clean.

We stayed here for two nights and were very happy with the room and facility. Love the convenience of having buffet breakfast in the morning. The buttered croissant was amazing! Thanks to this hotel, I felt the best city in my Italy trip was Florence. I love the energy in this city. The location was good with great walking distance away from the crowd and yet close enough to get to the station. Our most important things in picking a hotel are the bed and bath of the room. In these aspects, this new hotel in Florence scored very very high. We will definitely go back.
