This apartment was perfect for us in so many ways! Our booking was seamless. Tomaso could not have been easier to work with - He was so responsive to my many questions. I was traveling with my mother (80) and another couple (59) who all had only been to Italy on a tour, this was their first "stay". The location was perfect for our group. Ten minute walk to the train station for our day trips and 10 minutes to the Duomo. We were a block off the Arno which made it perfect for navigation. The neighborhood was not bustling with tourists, just the daily traffic. Restaurants were convenient - Tre Meli is right across the street for a quick bite and Giovanni was quite the hit with the locals! The interior of the unit was just what we needed - space. The attached baths for the 3 bedrooms were perfect and functioned well - never ran out of hot water. The washer worked perfectly, the air conditioners cooled us down immediately, and the kitchen appliances were in good working condition for our breakfasts and occasional lunches. The patio was great for the morning coffee and there is a table and chairs, unlike the photo. The living room and dining room were spacious and relaxing. The apt has the 3-pronged outlet which will work with a 2-pronged adapter but not in all sockets. The WiFi worked seamlessly with 4 users at all times. The building elevator is perfect for luggage upon arrival and departure, however the 2 flights of stairs (35 steps total) to the unit when not carrying heavy items is not a problem at all - the rise is not steep like american steps. Tomaso provides all the necessities - umbrellas, multiple sets of keys, linens, towels, dishes, pots/pans, plus guidebooks donated by previous travelers fill the buffet. I couldn't have been more pleased to have this authentic Tuscan experience for our 2 weeks in Florence!
