We stayed in June on a Topdeck tour!
Whilst the room wasnt terrible terrible, I was woken at 4 AM to dozens of mozzies in my room and had to go on a killing spree.
I later found the cleaner had opened the window in our room which is where they had all come from.
They should clearly know that this will happen if they open the windows and should put screens on them or leave them closed.
Needs lots of improvements, our toilet didnt flush properly either.

We stayed here for one night as part of a top deck tour. If it had of been for longer than one night, we would have moved hotels.
After being on a bus for 12 hours we were looking forward to a nice shower. Shower didn't work, tap dribbled, air con barely worked and it was really noisy.
After heading out for tea we left our keys at reception as told by our tour guide. The man on reception when we returned was rude huffed at us and slammed them on the front desk. We were woken at 5AM by a loud sound of a generator turning on. When we got up to finally have a shower guess what this time no power! I had a shower that barely worked with the torch of my I phone so I could see. Breakfast was terrible hardly any options. Had to pay for wifi. Nothing nice to say about this place defiantly the worst we have stayed at in our world wide travels. Don't waste your money!!!

If you're staying only one or two nights I recommend you use this hotel. It is a little bit small but the service is good and it is well located, walking distance from main attractions.

Breakfast was included and there was variety. It was open at 6am.

we stayed here two nights and the there was no hot water, the shower drain was blocked, the room phone did not work, towels were not refreshed even though we had placed them on the floor of the bathroom - they picked it up and hung it up for us to use again!!

Internet only available in the lobby at a cost. Very slow internet!!

Stayed here as part of a topdeck trip with 50 other people, the place was about a 20min walk into town but the rooms were horrible- Aircon did not work, we had old band-aids (plasters) holding light switches together, mould in the bathrooms and bugs everywere. Please pay a bit more for a better hotel. Other people in the trip had bedbugs all over them in the morning so i guess our room could have been worse.

Just before I left I checked the references about this hotel on tripadvisor and then I started to be worried. I was reading about that the people weren't nice, that there were cockroaches and rooms were not clean and it was unsafe. So maybe my expectations were low but I experienced the place as all right. I stayed there by myself. The people were friendly, the room was clean and cleaned every day. It's a 20 minute walk to Ponte Veccio but your close to Piazza Michelangelo.
If you are away all day and not to attached to luxury this place had a reasonable quality-price balance. They just have strange uncomfortable towels, it like you dry yourself with a sheet. And bringing something against mosquito's might be a good idea.

We stayed here as part of a Topdeck Tour with 40+ people.

From the very beginning we were not impressed by this hotel. The front of the hotel looks pretty dodgy and when you walk in to reception the lady behind the front desk was quite rude. At one point they had a young girl on and she was just as bad! No customer service skills whatsoever!

Our room was quite large and spacious (but that's probably the only good thing about it). We were excited to be given a queen bed, but like most other hotels in Europe, it's just two single beds pushed together. In order to get the air circulating in our room, we had to open the doors to the balcony. This is not at all safe. If you left the room unattended (which we wouldn't) and the doors open, anyone could easily climb up a story and access your room.

The bathroom was so tiny and very scabby! They fit all the amenities in, with just a little bit of room for you to walk from the toilet to the shower. The shower was filthy - mould and hair everywhere! The shower head squirted water everywhere, except on your body! The worst I have ever seen.

The next day we went out and came back in to find dirty sheets and towels all through the hallways. Instead of having a trolley for all these dirty sheets/towels, they just left them lying around for all to see and smell (yuck!).

They offered wi-fi, however it was very over priced and very slow. It wasn't even worth the purchase! It is only available near reception.

Tips:
1. Don't purchase their over-rated and expensive wi-fi! You're just wasting your money. Wait for the next hotel (if you're on tour). Chances are they have free and fast wi-fi!

2. Don't expect your towels to dry over-night. With no air circulation in the room, they won't dry.

3. Don't leave personal items out. The hotel attendants looked pretty dodgy and I wouldn't trust them. Lock everything away when leaving the room.
