Alle Murate offers a unique opportunity to dine in a 14th century palace with original frescoes. Meals start with Prosecco and a brief historical overview of the site. The menu is modern Italian with unique, tasty dishes and a few duds. Our server suggested an excellent and reasonably priced red Tuscan wine. Mixed reviews within our party of four about the food with one strong complaint from my wife about cold pasta. The restaurant is expensive (300 Euros for four people). Go to see the palace and hope the chef and servers coordinate food delivery to the table. Clearly worthy of another chance.
