Loved this hotel - decor is pared back but interesting. Marvel characters and the odd Disney statue placed along the hallways make for an interesting backdrop. Palm trees in the entrance and sitting area atrium - amazingly sculpted from tyres
Standard breakfast - but as we were relieved from dining in the hotel - we took the recommendations and we had great and good value dining sorted for is by the hotel
Very centrally places and in walking distance from rail and key sites

So enjoyed our stay, as we were there for a Tuscan Wedding. Clean, roomy, fun hotel. The Super Hero's around the hotel were an added delight! The breakfast assortment was perfect.
Staff were helpful too!

This hotel is located within a 10 minute walk of the train station making it perfect if you will be utilising rail to travel elsewhere in Italy. The staff were friendly and efficient making reservations for us for dinner and helping with advice. Our room was large, simply decorated in a sort of retro-modern style, and quite clean. My only complaint was it was quite dark even with all the lights on. There was no thermostat in the room so if you are staying in the Summer or Winter, beware. I think this is common in most hotels in Florence. We were there in early Spring, so with the window cracked we were comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and offered eggs, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cured meats, cheese, pastries, mimosas (!), coffee, etc etc. All in all, we would stay here again.

Easy to get to Florence from the airport by tram at €1.50. Buy your ticket at the station then validate it in the tram. No one told us that!! Amazing city with lots to do. We had fabulous weather and ate in some lovely restaurants. Our hotel was amazing. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Great chicken with attention to detail. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a hotel which has it all I would recommend Garibaldi Blu. The location is within easy walking distance of the Duomo, Mercantile Centrale, the train station and everything else Florence has to offer. But more importantly the hotel staff is by far the best I have ever encountered. They will help you with finding the perfect dinner spot, recommending tours, showing you exactly where to find the tram. Filipe, who I believe is the manager, is in a category all his own. His help and thoughtfulness made our visit one we will never forget. Even being right on the Piazza Santa Maria Novella the hotel has a quiet feel. It is beautifully decorated.

Room tip: Upgrade to a room facing the piazza
