Owner description: Small group and private fully guided bike tours (single and multi-day) in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. You'll pedal quiet back roads around Florence, Chianti, Siena, Val d'Orcia and elsewhere. Personalized service with pick up and drop off at or near your hotel. All fitness/skill levels and fully van-supported. Several rides to choose from for varied interests, including wine and olive oil tasting, gelato tasting, historic castles and off-the-beaten path medieval villages. First-rate equipment (and electric bikes too!). Ask about our new cooking class ride for foodies! Florentine Marco Vignoli, a former bicycle racer, founded I Bike Tuscany. His wish is to share with you his passion for amazing scenery, adventure, great food and wine and, of course, biking. It's his belief there is no better or more exciting way to experience the singularly beautiful region of his homeland than from the seat of a "bicicletta," and so has worked hard to create some very special and unique itineraries that we're sure will have you believing the same. We look forward to your joining us for a day (or trip) you'll keep in your heart, take home with you and never forget.

“Wonderful Experience on the 'Chianti 2' 1 day bicycle tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014

My wife and I had the the most memorable experience of our anniversary trip with Marco in Chianti! Prior to our arrival to Italy, Marco provided us with clear communication about the details of the tour. We were picked up very close to our hotel, on time and transferred to the starting point in a comfortable and clean vehicle. After arriving in the village, Marco prepared the bikes for the ride. The bikes are high quality and in excellent running condition. Then the real fun begins as you are led through the countryside, enjoying fantastic views, visiting historic sites, enjoying authentic Tuscan food and wine. Marco is a fantastic guide and pleasure to spend the day with. You can't go wrong with 'I Bike Tuscany', truly a 10 out of 10! Thanks Marco!

“Fantastic 'Chianti 1' Cycling Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2014

This 'Chianti 1' cycling trip was the absolute highlight of our recent trip to Florence and fantastic value for money. You require a reasonable level of fitness and cycling experience for this ride, but are rewarded with stunning scenery, wonderful romantic small villages and quiet roads and tracks. We loved every minute and Elizabeth our wonderful host was always on hand with useful tips, refreshing bottles of water and suggested a perfect little restaurant for lunch.
Everything about 'I Bike Tuscany' from the booking process, pick-up arrangements and cycling equipment was thoroughly professional and they are very strongly recommended! This 'Tuscan' cycling experience was by far our fondest memory of our trip to Florence!

“Idyllic Tuscan views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014

From the outset, the experience with I Bike Tuscany was first rate. Elizabeth responded to our email queries immediately suggesting an appropriate route for our needs. We awoke to a glorious crisp and clear Tuscan morning to begin our ride in Gaiole in Chianti, riding to a winery located in a castle. We had a tour of the castle, a wine tasting with our guide and sommelier Elizabeth, and a lovely lunch on the grounds of the winery. We then embarked on our 3 km climb up to the hillside offering an incredible view of Tuscan countryside. Although we were concerned about the difficulty of the climb, Elizabeth was encouraging and patient, never rushing us up the hillside. The ascent was worth the effort, just as she predicted. I highly recommend this tour as a way to see the lovely medieval hamlets that are scattered throughout the region. I would definitely do this again!

“Chianti 2 Bike Trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

Our guides, Elena and Piero, were not only skilled bicyclist and tour guides, but they were friendly, helpful with unrelated travel issues and so much fun to be around. Our day included an informative car trip in Tuscany from Florence to the start of our biking in Radda with stops to photograph and admire the scenery, a 20 mile enjoyable bike ride, a lovely walk in the gardens at Castello di Brolio with an unforgettable dinning experience, and then back to Florence via a different route. We are looking forward to a multi day bike excursion with I Bike Tuscany in the future.

“a great afternoon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

Elizabeth was recommended to us by some friends who had a wonderful tour with her a few years ago. We had an equally terrific ride through the hills of Tuscany. We are not bikers and Elizabeth understood that we wanted to sip some wine, try some gelato and take in the beautiful views - we did just that and it was one of the highlights of our visit to Florence. We were conveniently picked up in Florence and within an hour we were at a vineyard trying some delicious chiantis and off we went. It's definitely worth the time to explore the countryside outside of Florence. Enjoy - we sure did!
