Pantarei was perfect for us! We stumbled upon it as we were walking to another restaurant and were very pleased with the outcome!
Our waiter was very friendly and we opted for some raw fish antipasti, which was stunning! Then we had pizzas for our main with a contadina salad, which was very fresh and tasty! The pizzas were out of this world and we were told by patrons of the restaurant that Pantarei served the best pizza in the area! We had the house red wine and finished off with coffee and a liqueur and in all came to €55! We thought this was exceptional value for money and vowed to come back the next night - which we did!
This time the restaurant was busier, but again great service from the waiters and all very friendly. This time we had a local meat dish and a local fish dish, which were both well cooked and worth every penny! We also had some wine again and water. I had a cheesecake for dessert, which was gorgeous, as it was made with ricotta! I would certainly recommend this. Again our meal did not cost us more than €60, which we thought was reasonable and would have gladly gone back again for a 3rd night!
We almost wished we had when we got to the restaurant we had booked for the next night, Taverna del Bronzino, turned out to be so over priced and not as good as Pantarei!
