Simply magical! The service is just so attentive.

The beautiful garden, the swimming pool, and so on and so on!

They also have hot air balloon that will go straight up to provide you with a phenomenal view.

Also look into the romantic dinner in the garden or the rooftop. Sounded really nice!

We absolutely loved it!

After much deliberation, and reading the fabulous reviews here on this hotel, I booked two nights in a Four Seasons room for my husbands birthday.
The welcome from the taxi was lovely, check-in was fast, and the transfer to our room, in the outer building, was swift.
After roaming for a while around the city, we returned to the hotel, and asked for a champagne bucket and two glasses to be sent to our room (I had a special bottle of Champagne for my husbands birthday). After half an hour, and no sign of these, I went down to reception to see what the problem was. They had tried to deliver them to another room. The staff member who did finally deliver them was apologetic.
We were in a room on the top floor, and the noise from the air-conditioning was very loud at night. It became unbearable at 11:15pm, so I phoned reception, and they managed to turn off the vent above our room.
We were awoken the next morning by room service, for a breakfast we hadn't ordered. The staff member was apologetic.
Upon checking out, there was an extra item on our bill, which I asked to be clarified. The staff member could only say that it was an "extra" charge for breakfast. After I said I thought that the breakfasts were included in the room (48 euros per person per day), she repeated to me it was "over and above" the breakfast rate. My husband insisted on an explanation, and the staff member, very reluctantly, got the breakfast bill. She then said it was not our charge "that the computer has a breakdown sometimes".
Now none of these events are major in any way, but after looking forward so much to staying at this hotel, for a special occasion, I expected flawless service, not to be kept awake at night, and woken up in the morning.
We stayed in numerous different hotels throughout France and Italy during our three week visit, and had none of these sorts of issues with any of the others.
A lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings, but unfortunately it didn't come together for us.

Room Tip: Don't get a room on the top floor, the air-conditioning noise will keep you awake.

Dear Madame,

We keep going back to this property simply because it is the best. We also keep not wanting to leave when we are there.
Florence is a must go destination but I would say 4S Florence is a must go destination in itself.
The location is just stunning. Set in acres and acres of beautifully maintained gardens (where in the world does one find that in a town centre). Stay for days and enjoy the beauty and history of its buildings and gardens. Be pampered in the stunning spa. Or just laze by the pool.
Very family friendly: in a very nice way.

The breakfast menu has lots of things (too many....) to choose from. Quality is just superb. Enjoy a lovely lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants. Casual or fine dining available.

The rooms are just fantastic. Some rooms are in the "noble" part of the hotel. The beauty and history of that part of the hotel is just amazing.
Others are in the beautifully re-stored more modern feeling part.
Last, but not least, the Conventino has some of the most luxurious rooms you can imagine. Not one room is the same and for sure there is one for everyone's taste. (One has to bear in mind these rooms are a short walk from the main building but the building has all the facilities on site (concierge, reception, breakfast etc) and a shuttle service is available should the weather not be kind)
The staff are top notch. Service with a capital S. Caring and genuinely friendly. Focused on making your stay to be as pleasant as possible.

Smiles all around. Being greeted by name is just the norm.
Please go.
You will not want to leave!

The Four Seasons Firenze is indeed a fabulous, outstanding property !!!! What a "beautifully decorated" space, both in the public rooms and the guest rooms. And the garden is just lovely. And kudos to a most friendly and efficient staff. The Concierge desk could not have been more accommodating....advice on restaurants, securing an outstanding guide, just seeing to our every need. And don't miss having a top notch cocktails....surpassing New York's best.

We are a family of five with two connecting rooms and a third room nearby for two teenage girls. This is a great hotel even by Four Season standards. From the moment you walk into the hotel you feel transported to a Florentine Villa where you and your family are the center of attention by the entire staff. The hotel is located within its own private park which provides a tranquil setting when you need a break from all of the tourists in Florence. Additionally, the hotel is located slightly outside of the center and does require about a 15 minute walk to the Duomo. However, it is an easy walk that we enjoyed everyday.

The rooms are fantastic. Completely modern and luxurious; everything you would expect from a Four Seasons and more. The restaurants and breakfast area are great along with a really friendly staff that made our family feel welcome everyday -- to include some good World Cup humor every morning since my son is a huge soccer fan.

The pool area is a real treat. Attentive service, great drinks, wonderful pool ideal for families and couples wanting some quiet time.

Bottom line, we have stayed at many great hotels around the world. This really does rank right up there as one of the best in the world and a must see.

We made a mistake by only staying two nights at this beautiful property. We stayed at a ton of nice places on our honeymoon (over 17 days in Italy) and by far the best service we received was here at the Four Seasons. We were given a double upgrade, in part because of honeymoon, and in part because of our AMEX Platinum Card benefits.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job of highlighting all of benefits of the property. Our last night was remarkable in that upon returning to our room there were fresh rose petals all over the bed and a beautiful love poem written on the mirror. We were truly humbled and so sad to leave everyone at the Four Seasons. Most of our hotel stays were three nights at least in various places on our journey but we were so sad that we stayed only 2 with them! Probably the best run Four Seasons I have ever stayed in (and I've stayed in plenty). Beautiful.

Room Tip: We stayed in the very private rear cottage rooms looking down onto the garden. Incredible!
