Much improved recently, lots of bars and small restaurants, a good bookshop. Often has a small market.

After a long day in Florence, take the bus uphill, or if you have your rental car, climb all the way to Fiesole ...Take a stroll and get yourself a nice table in one of the restaurants overlooking the Arno River valley ...
The camarieri will come promptly ... no rush ... you'll have plenty of time for the only thing you'll be able to have ... APERITIVO !
Indulge yourself with a Vermouth Rosso, or a Frizz or just a glass or wine ....and get ready for sunset over Florence ...
Conversation will be combed by the gentle breeze, while the sun will go to sleep after a busy day bathing bella Italia
One of the highlights of our family trip. Something to put again on our bucket list
Enjoy !

Piazza Mino is a functional square in the city of Fiesole. It does offer a nice overlook of Florence in the distance, but is otherwise a fairly average plaza.

A nice plaza surrounded by shops and restaurant's with the panoramic view of Florence. A perfect place to start with when visiting the Comune of Fiesole, Piazza Mino is perfectly located, facing the Cathedral, a couple of walks to reach the museums and the ruins of Roman Theater, a long and steep walk or climb heading to the church and monastery of San Francesco (Sporty attire / shoes is more apt).

Wonderful square, where you can sit and watch the world go by, or visit the street market which has many attractions.
