My wife and I journeyed to Fiesole (from Ireland) for a family wedding and were fortunate to have booked Le Cannelle, apart from being so close to Florence, easy bus trips etc., excellent facilities, spotless & comfortbale accomodation, good value, it was the warmth and tremendous enthusiasm from the wonderful lady of the house - Sara - that made our stay so pleasant. Breakfast were great fun - and really delicious, home cooked as you arrived in the morning. If you are in the Florence area and you want a quiet break from the city bustle, take the 7 bus to Fiesole and treat yourself to an enjoyable time in the warm hospitality Le Cannelle, it's the best Céad Míle Fáilte you will find anywhere.

My husband and I stayed at this B&B at the start of our vacation for three nights. Fiesole is a charming town about 20 minutes by bus from Florence. You are out of the business of Florence, yet accessible to other parts of Tuscany as well. Parking is near and free. The owner, Sara, is delightful; a perfect hostess. She was there to greet us, give us restaurant recommendations, and directions, and she herself prepares a beautiful breakfast in the breakfast room each morning. We had a perfect stay. Thanks Sara!

Le Cannelle is a great choice to stay in if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Firenze or if you have a car and want to explore surrounding areas (parking is at bottom of hill and requieres a nice walk) . Sara was an energetic and wonderful host with a wealth of information on what to see, where to go and what to do. She made reservations at the Ufizi and several restaurants she recommended (and they were great) and most of all made us all feel like friends and not just guests. We will definitely go back. You can get to downtown Firenze quite easily by taking the bus that leaves approximately every 20 minutes (watch your wallet on crowded buses)
