This place is tucked away on a side street but worth seeking out. The wine is not only local, but plentiful and inexpensive. And quite good. It's all on tap behind the bar - and if you like, they might even fill up a bottle for you to go.
After you order some wine, they'll bring you out some excellent appetizers. Mine were different than the table next to me, but very tasty. I had two kinds of bruschetta - one with a mushroom ragu and one with a crushed tomato puree. Very nice and I didn't even ask for them.
They told me they had two kinds of lasagne already prepared, a pomodoro (tomato sauce) and a pesto with pine nuts. I chose the pesto and it was great. The bill was surprisingly low.
Now I can't wait to go back and see what else they have to serve on a different day. And hang out with some wine for a while, too.
