“Stunning Italian Garden”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 June 2014

A lovely formal Italian garden, that includes statues, fountain and paths, but also includes colour from roses and hydrangeas.
The palazzo is interesting, has pretty natural frescoes on the walls. You can see through about six rooms only, but I enjoyed it.

“Small but beautiful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014

We only went to the garden, as much as anything to take respite from the 34C heat. The house seemed expensive to visit and was not what we were looking for

Mainly roses around a fountain with statues of the Greek gods, all very nice. we saw it from the walls but the reality was equally good

Maybe a bit pricey for something so small

“Great Garden”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2014

The palazzo was so-so but the gardens were wonderful. See if you can get admission only to the garden. The palazzo's not worth any extra money. FYI: there is a toilet in the corner of the garden; not necessary to pay for admission to the palazzo to use the toilet.

“Pleasant Gardens ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2014 via mobile

We passed a pleasant hour sitting in the gardens. This was good because we don't have any outside space with our apartment. Probably it was a bit expensive but then this is Lucca.

“Visiting a time gone by”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2014

Lucca has so much history and each time you step into some of it you slip back in time and imagine yourself in that period. It was wonderful to feel the atmosphere of the house, and the gardens were superb. We first noticed the garden when we walked on the wall of Lucca that surrounds the village. Well worth the time to find it and see this lovely place. So glad to see it preserved....
