Seen from the outside grille, it looks splendid, but....
After a very brief introduction, you get to pay dearly to visit (on your own) the ground level of a villa which has hardly any interest. You are then handed a very dark photocopy of a map (which you must give back at the end of your visit) of what looks like a grandiose garden. You end up in a garden which has nothing particular in itself and no view on the surroundings.
Add to this 'wonderful' visit, the restrooms which were out of order and the mosquitoes which were very much alive and you might understand why we preferred to leave quickly.
We all felt really bitter to have been ripped off and just don't understand why the travel guides recommend this villa.
Tip : head for the Bardini Gardens in Florence.
