Everything you could want . Well equipped apartment full of character and charm, with the added touch of a bottle of wine and fresh loaf of bread.
Sandy, the apartments owner was very helpful all the way through the booking, responded quickly to any enquiries. She met us on arrival and recommended some restaurants and was very helpful.
The apartment is in an excellent location, close to everything. would have been a quiet street except for the building being renovated a couple of doors down, but that can't be helped!!
Lucca is a lovely Tuscan city, perfect for a few days away.
You have to hire bikes and cycle around the city walls which is blissful.
Only took 45 mins by public bus from Pisa airport and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the apartment, so couldn't be easier.
I travel quite a bit and having a comfortable and quiet location is very important to me. This apartment has the best Wi-Fi in all of Italy. You cannot really have a bad location in Lucca because it is so small and contained within the walls, it is easy to walk to anything. I stayed for three months and found this location to be the most convenient for getting to the wall, which is literally just a block away or if you're attending the Lucca Italian language school it is the closest location to that, which is just outside the walls. However, some of the apartments that boast central locations can often be in an area that could be noisy at night because of all of the restaurants and tourist activities. That is not the case with this apartment it very much has a neighborhood feel and is very quiet. The apartment is very well-equipped and everything is new including the washing machine, and the bed is very comfortable. Ideal for a couple, one person or two people and also having an occasional guest on a rollout bed. I loved it, it became home for me.
