“Beautiful, beautiful Church...just lovely”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

Beautiful Church and lovely museum attached to it. We were recommended to go here by some friends specifically to view the marbled lady and it was well worth it. Just gorgeous. The Church is on a lovely square too - wish we'd had more time to explore this area of Lucca

“Suprisingly beautiful”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Lucca, we read, is known as the town of 100 churches, but only two or three are worth a visit. The Duomo if surely one of them. We didn't go all the way inside, because we didn't want to pay to visit the crypt, but even the parts of the Duomo which can be visited for free are quite beautiful. The cathedral's museum on the other hand, isn't that interesting, especially not for kids.

“Worth going inside”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Not always impressive from the outside but well worth going inside for amazing ceilings. Plenty of atmosphere but can be noisy with those visitors.

“Central location for city visit”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

Nice church in the center of all the shops and restaurants that Lucca has to offer. Lots of walking but many places tom stop and have a café and people watch; lovely stores around.
